For one and two I would suggest these: 1, Cryogenics/ keeping a population in a suspended state, if you're moving an entire population like that it'll take a lot less space to just stack them in chambers than it would to say include normal food, medicine, exercise and entertainment. 2. I haven't played GCII but I read some of the lore and stuff a while ago an wasn't it that the altarians gave warp gate drive to humans who then developed it into warp

What I've noticed in the game so far that after you get a few weapons and hulls the list of ships you can build gets very long and annoying to look through, this gets worse the more ships you make. It would be nice if we could create folders to put our designs in them and decide which folders are visible in the shipyard. This way I can disable the pre-made ships, use say a sleek, fighter theme with my terran ships or even have to design new ships in the game without having to look through
I think some of the synthetic life cap modifiers are in the industrial side of things, maybe the essential bonus' should be appended to the equivalent techs of other races whilst the Yor tech tree gets the most improvements as the tech tree is tuned for synthetic life?
I created a custom faction that has the trait synthetic life but the assembly construction is linked to the yor tech tree. The focus of my Race's tech tree was intended to be technology and military but if I choose to do that and keep the trait synthetic life then my entire race is limited to 10 population. In short the synthetic trait is useless without the yor tech tree severely limiting the customisability of synthetic race. If the synthetic trait is going to prevent population
I really like the Brans Eye design, It looks amazing and a bit meteoric in design. I might make a transport based on it that just straight up crashes into the planet then releases the soldiers. At least that give a plausible explanation for the ship being destroyed. If it's any good I'll post it
I've found that I can take over an entire galaxy without ever needing to build or research anything military, Whilst I really like that you can win territory in a non violent way (giving complete domination a more insidious feel) I've noticed that I can bring entire civilizations to their knees and the governments controlling them are fine with it, in fact they're overjoyed and love it. Surely annexing planets would result in some kind of diplomatic wrath? I mean, individual
It's actually just a constructor, the Altarian one just looked silly to me and didn't follow the aquatic theme the other ships have. I'm not sure how well it comes across bu the middle but is meant to be sorta squid like and the right hand side implies a jellyfish bell thing, the left being the tentacles for both. I act like I have some plan for it but to be honest I just play around until something works. The constructor module goes at t
I really like the way the shields work on this, mainly because I'm imagining the scientists who constructed it running tests and nodding to each other like "Yes, this works, this is a warship that is fully prepared for battle. We have done our jobs correctly." Got another design, I r
I wanted to experiment with designs that weren't the usual linear design and came up with this: I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, I'll have to get to grips with the animations at some point too.
