I also have a bug, Ive researched barren world and am in fact well past it, yet I can not colonize the planet. Two planets in fact. I did not have this issue prior to last patch.

Might want to prevent buying ships period. No good way to stop that as a way of disarming the AI.

It seems if you or your opponent stuffs enough ships in orbit around a planet, they cant be attacked. The AI has 12 ships in orbit and my 7 ship fleet cant attack them.. And so they sit there around a planet that eventually changed sides to my faction, yet still they sat and sit I couldn't attack. Working as intended?
