Getting annoying. Can't declare war ont he green people next to me. Posted before about this. Guy mentioned the 50 turn Pragmatic thing and I thought. yeah ok. Kept playing - 52 turns late I still cannot declare war. Very annoying.

unfortunately I load an earlier save and avoided the situation after 2 crashes...... nothing to send in now
I shall resume and check after 50 turns - forgot about that
WTF - went to attack someone and I was told I couldn't declare war on them.....
I have a planet that gets invaded by Pirates - game crashes every time.
Plus in Beta 5 the influence effect suddenly jumps... I was gaining slowly on my surrounding foes as usual - hex here hex there - then a bit of jump when a (Benevalent Bonus) gave me a sudden Influence jump... then a at some point later after many turns of hexes here and there pushing my borders slowly forward I suddenly jumped from just on 20% of the map under my influence to nearly 40%... taking in almost all of one other nations and large chunks of two more... I had this in the pre
The influence spread is very chunky. You get a little bit here, a hex there, and then boom you get half their territory..... The ship/fleet window that comes up in the lower left of the screen still doesn't show the ship fleet size values below the little grey icons except when you too many ships in a fleet. The AI is still crap at using colonies. I mean they are really pathetic. Research facility in a rich farming area, factory on one of those research bonus tiles, no co-
Will the AI in the finished product be better than what it is now? I just beat all 6 opponents on a large map with them set to Godlike - without firing a shot. sigh Also the AI's planet development is poor and disjointed. They don't build effective star bases and don't ally against you.
There are a couple of small improvements that I suggest be made to the ship display window. 1. The small ship window that appears in the bottom left of the screen needs to be made a null click area. At the moment if you miss one of the action buttons and click in the window area, the window is treated as transparent and you drop back to the map with the ship window disappearing. This is annoying when you are in a hurry or going through a string of fleets that need reforming after upgr
1) Diplomacy needs as many options to answers as possible 2) Game length: Whatever it is .. Really - My current game (basically finished) is now over 500 turns and I am at 78% of Influence and gaining and haven't fought a war on a medium map with all Gifted opponents. Getting a bit tedious seeing it is only a matter of time now but there you go. 3) Ones where there a multiple winning strategies. Think rock paper scissors. Too many games become a case of follow the op
All my shipyards suddenly changed to all ships building being N/A as far as finish time - as if they were ophaned. Tried ophaning the re-sponsoring one but no change. No ships being built at all now unless I buy them.
If I have an Idle Fleet which I am happy to leave where it is I can press Pass and move on. If I have an Idle Colony which I don't feel needs anything new to be built on I can't find a Pass button. What am I missing?
