I really surprised that 73 people looked at this message and NO ONE had an answer for me. That is fine, I have figured out what the issue was. Seems my diplomacy level with them degraded enough for them to declare war on me. I played the campaign again tonight and I was able to beat it. Took me 627 turns as they took forever to send a transport to take back the planet. I was -8500 credits, guess I should have built some economic starbases :).

Is there a campaign turn limit I didn't know about. I'm playing vanilla GC3 Altarian Prophecy mission 1 and I liberated all the planets I needed to yet the Altarians still declare war on me making me fail the mission. The turn count is just over 600 and I didn't colonize any planets in there territory either. I think it does have something to do with the turn limits because the same thing happened last night also. The only difference was I hadn't liberated the main planet Vol.

This is true, I only know my name isn't in there because I found the .xml file they used and searched it for my name. I was honestly surprised I didn't find it. really didn't know there was a webpage to put the name you wanted to show up in the credits. I knew about the star naming but wasn't interesting in that. Eh, I'm just surprised a mod hasn't answered my question. I asked on twitter and also got silence.

I know this is like 3 years late, but somehow I missed my chance to enter the name I wanted in the end credits. Is there even the slightest chance I could get it in on some patch or update?
