Have an option for a shipyard to build a supply management extention which allows ready made sections of ships and effectively support another shipyards production, so that shipyard can build ships much quicker. This should probably require another constructor, and the supply ship supplying the other shipyward with parts or whatever should be interceptable.
once higher technology is got , combat can be a little one dimensional. I would propose two changes. 1) Experience for crews on a ship to encourage upgrading rather than scrapping. 2) A randomisation of the effects such as targetting and damage dependent on the environment such as in a nebula or an asteroid field. The experience would have greater effects in the unusual environment and counter some of the negative effects.</p

So can something be researched to increase this. My enemy seems to be able to field far larger fleets. What would be your tips on having the biggest fleet?
Is there a maximum fleet size? how many ships can I put in a fleet and how do I get two fleets into one fleet?
