Agreed, same issue. Also wish we could rotate the camera (not sure whether that's a beta limitation or not). Would also like to see the city information that's visible on the main screen visible on the cloth map.

I've been watching the Let's Play videos, and am still not sold. The combat looks quite bland at this point. I like the looks of it (everything else I've seen), and may give it a try, but hope the combat turns into something more. For those that have it, let me know if I'm wrong, or what I might be missing.

Correct, none of the 9/13 ones have a mini-map, but couple of the 9/11 posted ones do. I'm guessing boats will play a bigger role in this game, unless I'm completely missing something.

Crappy work laptop takes forver to load GC3 after beta update in GalCiv III Support GalCiv3 Forums

Afternoon, Never had issues running GC3 before, but with the new beta release, it take about it about 20 minutes to start up (from launch to main menu). Granted I'm doing it on a mediocre work laptop, but it never took that long before. Has anyone seen this before. Runs fine on my main machine. With travel coming up, it'd be nice to play when not at home.
