Like I said my crashes also just suddenly stopped. I could finish my game without any further ctd`s. I have no idea why it crashed nor why it then stopped crashing, as I also thought the last patch was only about map sizes. And in my case it still crashed after the last patch and then later suddenly started to work normally. Strange but fine that it`s working again. I`m ~16h in my actual game. In the first ~13h I had ~30 ctd`s while I had none in the last 3h. Strange thing is it still crashed with the latest version of 1.9 and then it suddenly stopped crashing without any further changes. Or I was just lucky in the last 3h. I don`t know since it crashed often but very erratic.

I too have a lot of crashes since 1.9 and had none before. I already posted on steam forums a few days ago and also submitted a ticket. Ticket ID: OAP-979-47078

I`ve seen that too. I could destroy more than 20 AI ships one after another with my 6 ships. The AI ships where better than mine. I don`t think I would have had a chance against more than 3 at once.

I`m starting to get really frustrated by this problem. I got one answer to my support ticket, where I was told to make a screenshot of my missing sound FX. Seems weird, but I did what I was told to do. That was more than a week ago. Since then, absolutely nothing happened. What kind of support is this?

Might I say that it is now three days without any response. Neither on my support ticktet, nor on my Steam post. My support thread here even shows 0 views.

I didn`t play for a while. Now I wanted to start again and realised some sound fx e.g. ship movement sounds are missing. I can still hear music and UI sounds. It worked well the last time I played. I did verify the game files without success. In the game settings the sound volume is on of course. Also I tried to delete prefs.ini without success. I found nothing on the forums about this, but some guys on steam forums have the same issue: http://steamcommunity.com/app/

I totally understand a closed beta forum. Makes sense. But always getting access denied when you click on an interesting thread in main forums is a bit annoying. Also it feels a bit like two-tier society to me. I mean if I`m not allowed to read 5/10 threads in main forums why even come here anyways? If a separate forum for founders is needed, then at least don`t show us minor folks what we aren`t supposed to read.

Today after the big Windows 10 update ( Version 1511 ) I tried if all my games are still working. On GCIII`s first start the game told me my GPU driver might be outdated, although it`s the latest ( 358.91 from last week). The game runs fine it seems and this warning only occured once. I validated the game files, just to be sure. Every other game runs fine also. So no real problem. I just wanted to tell this.

1.3 is live now I guess? I just got a download.

Map editor sounds interesting. But I`m not interested in the multiplayer maps. Can you do something special with the editor what the standard random generator can`t?

My game slowed down, too... I have 4790k @ 4Ghz with 16 GB RAM... But didn`t a dev say its the pirates and they are working on it?

Some things feel different to my games before. I read the 1.1 changelog and the thing I mean don`t seem to be mentioned. My normal settings are Insane map, with normal stars and rare/rare plantes. Rare ressources, but nebulae, black holes and asteroids on normal. No crystals. No precursor`s suff. And rare pirates. Abundant minors. My custom race vs. the standard races. Today I played 5-6h (my wife says over 10) without further CTD`s. But when I click "New Design" I now get a blackscreen for about 2-5 sec. I didn`t had this before.

The problem was actually gone before validating. I just did this to be sure.

I just had two CTD`s right after clicking "New Design" in the designer-screen. Now it seems to be OK again. Strange. To be sure I validated the gamefiles and it downloaded six files. Normally I get two new files.

Mine looks a bit like Hubble with more antennas. If It breaks no problem...can easily design it from scratch.
