@Strategist I pieced together stardock graphics for the continent, I didnt change any names so I shouldnt have to place anything in the custom heightmaps folder. (For reference I used Iconia continent paired with Kryseth gradients.) @Shukkuk I'll take a look thanks fo the tip.

I have been able so far to create a star system containing a homestar, homeworld, 1 uncolonized planet. I mixed and matched some of the continent graphics for a unique homeworld appearance. Now the only way I have gotten it to work as a selectable starting system is to add in the custom system info into starsystemdefs and use the replace method in my my docs mod folder. If i try to use the add method by adding a suffix to starsystemdefs containing only the custom system info
Thanks that is a great help Gauntlet. Thanks to Aidanator for some great work on his Mod.
For some information on color schemes and modding them Custom Color Scheme thread
So i did some testing last night and was able to create my own color scheme. Below are the notes from what i was able to determine, some already known. DiffuseGradientRow1 = Base color gradient of ships DiffuseGradientRow2 = Trim color gradient of ships LightGradientRow1 = Base color gradient for ship lights/lighting effects LightGradientRow2 = Base color gradient of ship windows(cockpit) LightGradientRow3 = Gradient for ship engine
Look at the gradients below to see if you can make connections with the numbers. Can we get the option to deny gifts faction "a" wants to give to the player. For me this mainly concerns gifted techs. For instance faction "a" decides i'm awesome and gits me specialization tech "x". However my interest is in specialization tech "y" but can no longer research it because faction "a" gave me tech "x" and blocked out techs "y" & "z". Maybe you(Stardock) did this for use as a means of diplomatic influence on an opposing factions focus, I'

Durable constructors, in the sense of they are not used up in the building process, with each module posessing a build cost and the constructors having a build rate per turn base on tech level and maybe additional ship upgrades.
Just a thought check the resolution setting on you game settings to see if its less than 1080, that may through it off but I'm just spit balling here.
Check this guide out, seems to cover it well. https://forums.galciv3.com/465834/page/1/
As far as I am aware the first starbase to have its Zone of Control over the resource gets it until that starbase is traded, decommissioned, or destroyed.
The first two show the trade window with a minor race, the diplomacy window UI is still visible and interfering with the trade window. Player(Terran) The third is of the Terran Tech tree (Focused Beam Weapons) with the wrong tooltip. <img src="http://i.imgur.com/7zaGou8.jpg?1" alt="" width="1440" height="900" /
For those out there who might find themselves scrolling up and down the ship list looking for "that" design your looking for here is a fairly simple nomenclature system I use to make such a task quicker and more efficient. This a alpha numerical nomenclature system that is easily read and can easily me modified/modeled to your liking Weapon designations: B = Beam weapons M = Missile weapons D = Driver wea
You have the size(128x128) right. The default folder location should look similar to below, but that is determined by your installation/game preferences I believe. C:\Users\***\Documents\My Games\GalCiv3\Factions\Portraits The last folder is dependent on the class of image you are trying to add ie. portrait, foreground, background, or logo.
