As a veteran of Galciv2, and civ 3,4 and 5, i want to commend you guys ina very very high manner regarding your mechanics for multiplayer with regards to turn. It's... amazing. I love it. Civ5's hybrid/simulteneous turns made it more a battle of luck/reaction time, whereas GalCiv is still it's usual slow, easy paced self. I know there are complaints about the "slowness" of the multiplayer, but the bottom line is - if players want a faster game, they are play

I noticed that when the volume is turned down, it decreases most of the in-game volume stuff. EXCEPT for the bleeps and bloops when a turn ends, which remains at max volume. Because i run music in the background, or play with headphones, or run skype at the same time, I need the volume of everything lower so that i can hear what's going on. Actually, everything you're suggesting is exactly what Civ5 has in place as a game-playing option with their latest expansion. :) I agree, it's not a bad idea though. There's nothing wrong with having more options to how people play multiplayer.
