It is strange, I followed the instructions and uploaded an avatar. Then after a while it showed up on my posts. Nice. But now I am back to the original default one again on the old posts... strange...

Previous games in the galciv series has supported modding through change of xml files. Will GalCiv3 have a LUA interface so we can mod the AI and the UI using scripts?

What does playing with a mouse have to do with anything about A dev kit? I think we have a case of not understanding one another here. With a game console I meant a command window that opens up where you can type in commands.

I say let it take the time it takes. The more time spent on alfa and beta the better product will be released in the end. Still, I would love to grab a huge alfa bite right now before other games I am waiting for are released.

First I am not sure what language is being used developing the game but I assume C++ and Visual Studio seeing the game will use Direct X 11. There are some tools that I use when I develop programs but those are not very newbie friendly and cost money distributing. Thus the only thing they could do would be to have a game console (as they probably will anyway, atleast in single-play) and add some debug commands to it. After considering the name a couple of days I have decided to name my star Metatron. It has several meanings it is a name of an archangel in Judaism/Christianity/Islam who is the voice of God. It is also the name of a 18th century secret society in Sweden which is why I selected it.

Ok. The Ones I already preordered are... GalCiv3 Elite: dangerous Thief Elder Scrolls Online Star Citizen I think I will be busy... Then there are other sequels that I might get when/if they come out...

I am happy that we wont have "good" or "evil" in GalCiv3. By definition all nations see themselves as being "Good" and it is only in movie scripts that a side would call itself evil (or dark). I am sure that most of the earth dictators in history saw themselves as good and thought they were fighting for a good cause.

So when do winter turn into spring? :)

I am having a hard time deciding a name for my star. But I think I will have a little time deciding still ;)
