I think he means bonuses will be different for them, like damage, damage increases to off defenses, range, accuracy, rate of fire, penetration, mass, and cost. It would be nice to have race specific life support and hulls and evermore improvements bit that would make tech trading difficult.
Actually, why can't Paul post something, he's the artist and lead designer. He can post stuff while he's making it and it would last the weeks till we play can play it. DARCA. ;)

Yea, what if when a battle happens or enemies are close By a prompt could say "battle by Aeov asteroids." if you named that group of asteroids Aeov. For the record and my ego, I was the first on these forums to suggest that asteroids could give either bonuses! :p DARCA ;)
Use a paragraph! Black holes, yea. Asteroids? O_o Nebula I do thing just needs less orange, orange one of peoples least favorite colors. The back round nebula is even worse. It should be filled with color and swirling and majesty without many empty parts of space. Also stars! Bright stars everywhere! When interstellar rifts come we will likely receive damage when being in them and then we can complain about how they look. :) DARCA
