Pinning apps and UI return questions in Start8 Stardock Forums

Hi, I'm trying out Start8 and for setting up my mother in laws new Win 8 computer. It's my first experience with Win 8 and I find it rather awkward. I think your programs here will go a long way toward fixing it :) Two questions I have run across though - with Start8, the feature that I was most interested in was that apps can be pinned to the old style desktop's taskbar.
