This game is beautiful. One of my favorites from Stardock yet. Pick it up, folks! You won't be disappointed :-)

Be ready to see our Stardockians dressed up as pirates, playing the card game at lunch time. Pirate jokes will be told, pirate swagger will take place. Want some keys to play the game? We've got some awesome giveaways planned -- Our resident Twitch Wench, Kristy, will be hosting a special stream on Friday at 3pm! Arrrrr!!!!!
Nice!
Heh. ZubaZ does indeed have one! He prompted me to look into it. Jafo, I hear you might be visiting the States some time soon? Would be a pleasure to finally meet you!
So I received a FitBit as an early birthday gift. I had a baby in the fall (future Stardockian) and am glad to have a competitive thing to work with for activity. Anyone else have one? What do you like about it? Any tips? Muchos gracias!
Chris Bucholz is an exceptional writer. The stuff that is still under wraps is fantastic and his work on cracked.com never disappoints! The Star Control team continues to be awesome.
I really enjoyed Guardians. Anyone else confess to Rocket being their favorite character in the film? [e digicons]XD[/e]
Oh he was hilarious! And it took me by surprise that it was Bradley Cooper voicing him.
I'm waiting for the DVD to come out.
It was so great in the theater... I would go see it again by myself! (Took my husband, he thinks he took me...he's wrong, ha!)
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie!!! Loved the soundtrack, the cast, the humor, all of it. For those of you who read the comics, how did it compare? I had some friends who felt it stuck to it pretty well.
Caught this movie on Sci-Fi last night and really enjoyed it. I think it graciously took on big questions of the universe that a lot of people wonder about (and argue about) whether its fate, the concept of free will, relationships, the existence of God, etc. Pretty good film, IMO. Plus, the actor that plays Roger Sterling of Mad Men is in it, he's one of my faves. http://www.imdb.com/title/
After Fox canceled Firefly back in 2002, I am unfortunately not really that surprise they canceled Almost Human.
I remember wanting to see that show but forgot about it...guess that explains it! Ha!
Heh, I just finished reading Dad is Fat by Jim Gaffigan. It was hilarious. The man crams 5 children and his wife into a 2 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn and describes how New Yorkers respond to his ever-growing family. For example: “We are all a little weird. And we like to think that there is always someone weirder. I mean, I am sure some of you are looking at me and thinking, “Well, at least I am not as weird as you,” and I am thinking, “Well, at least I am no
I agree that the trailer sort of gave away a part of the movie that could have really been more of a surprise. But the character development was definitely more human. Now, to see Spiderman 2....
So I read that the new show on Fox, Almost Human, is being cancelled - really bummed about it! I never watched it on time but it was set to record on my DVR and I thought it was a really cool sci-fi show. That genre hasn't really grabbed me much in the last couple years on TV but this one did. Yep, bummed.
Went and saw this last night - thought it was really well done. Did a great job of setting up Captain America as a leader for the Avengers. Managed to pull on some heart strings, too. Not to mention there were some awesome previews beforehand: Spiderman 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, Maleficent, XMen: Days of Future Past, etc. It's gonna be a great summer of movies. Anybody else seen it? What'd you think?
Excellent!
Right on! Big day today!
Right now: "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly"
Yes. This. And I think that exercise does have a happy type of effect on me personally. I always feel better about myself after working hard on some type of fitness activity. Also, I've found that surrounding myself not only with the right job but the right people is important. Being selective about that 'inner circle' of people who can be mindful and accommodating on the days where you need a mind break is crucial. "Life is too short" to be around negativity
Nope. I already was cringing at the $79 from before. It'll make me less likely to just click "buy".
Just watched The Wolf of Wall Street - Very Scorsese-esque (language and debauch, etc.) but DiCaprio was fantastic, as per usual!
Very exciting! I have a sister-in-law who can't wait for the final product when the time comes! [e digicons][/e]
Can't deny Clark
Just dealing with 'Storm Vulcan' over here in Michigan
And to the list we can now find a place for Frozen!
