How do GOG users get this patch? Since the update I can't start any new games without early game freezing on and map size/combination. The latest patch available in GOG is Patch 1.80 hotfix (22nd June 2016). Are there external downloads available?

I own Gal Civ 3, which I purchased/play through GOG. Can I purchase the Mercenaries Expansion Pack from Stardock and have it work with my DRM free GOG version of the game? *Why?: Because it's on sale on Stardock and Steam, but not GOG. Thanks!
