That might make sense since the 2 of my planets from Benevolent tree (The Class 10 and the Class 16) each turned out to be one of these new planets. But of course I cant colonize them because I already colonized them! Interesting to note though, they both changed into class 25 planets. Now I feel a little ripped off with my Benevolent choices.

So I'm about 250 turns in and I checked my uncolonized planet list when I saw all these Class 25 planets pop out of nowhere. About 10-15 of them! They showed up all along my territory and slightly outside of it. Where did they come from?
Completely new to mods.. how do you DL and installt his?
So the stupid Dregin or whatever their stupid orc name is, were next to me being stupid. I decided I wanted to end their stupid existence, so I preemptively struck and took 5 of their planets. During the course of this war, I ran into a very very frustrating problem that I'm wondering if anyone has a work around for. I systematically wrecked their forward ships and shipyards, however they had something like 30 planets so I couldnt get everything. Their counterattac
Cooldowns would be cool. Like if you know the computer is going to go after a particular ship you can pop an extra strength shield cooldown for 5 seconds or something.
Do you just make influence buildings on all your planets?
I'm a big fan of Star Trek so I created a custom race The United Federation of Planets, I know, so original. But I also name all the planets Federation members; Vulcan, Andoria, Rigel IV, etc. I also cant resist and I name a planet "Tanagra" :) It led me to wonder if anyone else has a theme for naming planets?
So I havent looked exactly how they are ahead in power. But after they declare war on me I have about 20 turns until they come with a lot of ships. I usually play the same way each game, colonize like mad and concentrate on research and bettering my planets. The second I meet someone I start researching weapons, defenses and bigger ships. But it doesnt seems to help as they are way ahead of me in power and hate me anyway. Also anyone new I meet hates me too. &nbs
See the thing is, I usually do make my homeworld (I choose the class 16 planet) mostly manufacturing and population. Popping out ships in 1 or 2 turns isnt a problem, its that the whole galaxy declares war on me as soon as they meet me because I have --- in ripe for conquest. Trading does nothing, I get no positive points for trading with anyone. And because on the turn they meet me they are furious with me, they always want a completely lopsi
I'm playing on Normal/Excessive and I'm getting destroyed in every game I play. I usually go for research on my planets. I usually building something like 2 farms and a hospital, 1 or 2 entertainment buildings to keep 100% happiness, 1 factory and/or 1 solar power plant and the rest is research buildings with a sprinkling of economic buildings. By the time I meet a civ in the 2nd year they are usually ahead in power if not nearly doubl
I've gotten the hang of most of the controls. I like this game but some things are a little confusing though. 1. In my first few games I played on Normal Excessive (I'm a veteran of other stardock games) and wanted to take some time to explore, build different buildings, expand etc. As soon as I would meet another race they would be WAAAAY ahead of me in power.
