Was it fixed in 3.01?

It never made sense to me that trading was not more prominent for economic focused civs. I wish it made more than tourism.
Could we potentially get some changes made so that trade is the best way to make income? Right now it seems like treasure hunting is the best and that seems odd to me. When I imagine a galactic empire I would not think they would say "We are a wealthy empire. It had nothing to do with the commerce of our planets or the trade with far off worlds. It was because every now and then we send som

Hey everyone. I'm just getting back into the game and was looking for some help. 1)could any of you help clarify how the economy works? I was building buildings that provide +1 construction but I don't know what that means. 2) How do you know which technologies are unique now? I understand that we get techs now based on our racial makeup. How can I tell what special ones my design has given me though? 3) does anyone have a good guide I could
Im glad the spam is gone. This makes me think I might actually come back and try GalCivIII now. 2.0 is not the large expansion brad has been talking about is it? When does that come out?
Personally for me its a huge issue that there is not simultaneous turns. I have a few friends who are saying they wont buy the game until it gets it.
Will simultaneous multiplayer be added to the game?
Bump. Hoping to hear frogboy or someone's take on the situation.
I am guessing that the game will score in the high 70s on metacritic at launch. What all do you predict? midas
I'm like really shocked this is a thing. i guess different groups of people care about different things but this is a huge~ deal to me and my circle.
If you have points in benevolence, it actually costs you less influence to put points into malevolence vs staying benevolent. It's not just that you can pick both. It's actually cheaper to switch to the opposite tree than to continue doing what your doing.
[quote who="stevepeach" reply="7" id="3541597"] Quoting I_Am_King_Midas, reply 5 Wait so in multiplayer you and your friends aren't both able to act at the same time? You have to wait till they are done? If so i definitey~ want an option to allow simultaneous turns. I know some friends who won't g
They can also colonize planets inside of your influence.
I also dont think this game is ready to launch. Lets maybe look at this from a different angle. So we all know that this game will improve overtime. When you review a game you tend to review it based on where it currently is. What do you think this games metascore currently would be? I really don't see this getting 90+ Maybe some people think its ok to release games at various levels on the scale. Some may say if a game has
Could someone please explain to me when it's best to build certain buildings? I am not sure when I should build farms or solar factories in particular. If I want a plannet to be focused on productioN should I not just build factories everywhere? Also so if I want a planet to focus on research, should I put the planetary focus to manufacturing while I am building the research buildings? Midas
[quote who="Incanus" reply="48" id="3541375"] Political boundaries and exclusive economic zones should be definable either by treaty with other civilizations or by United Planets resolutions. They should not expand with cultural borders, which represent only the spread of culture, not politics. Violation of EEZs would be legitimate cause to remove or occupy the offending starbases, while violation of political borders would create a diplomatic penalty and could cause wa

Ia the Iridium Corporation overall better at all aspect of the economy or just trade?
Who is your favorite faction to play as and why? I would love to hear strategies, stories and long reasons for why you love who you do. Midas
If ours is not there can we still add it?
It is if you have not yet build the building. Like if you click to schedule to build the building but then decide to go with a different one.
If you are playing as the Terran and you pick to build a certain building and its free, then you remove that building, the next time you click to build a building it wont be free.
I dont like the idea of people being malevolent, benevolent and pragmatic all at the same time. This trait also seems OP.
Europa Universalis gives you an ahead of time tech penalty. It cost more of what is the equivalent to research points to get a tech early but you can do it.
