Personally - I want tactical combat but I also want more depth from the GalCiv Franchise. Maybe there could be an option for "Standing Orders" think Gratuitous Space Battles for the standing order options and just watch as combat unfolds. As for those who want Tactical combat - include it as an option at the start of the game.
