Just because I have not found anything about this, does not mean there are not any short term (or long term) plans to do anything about it, so sorry if I bring something up, that is not new. So to the point... when it comes to fleet management, I feel as playing a 30 yr old game (even the original master of orion had better fleet management) and I feel sad about the lack of progress in this... You get 100+ colonies by turn 40? Thats nice, my first shipyard takes roughly 20 turns to build a new colony ship, even with a free one for ideology and the starting one, there is no way, I could ever manage to hit 100 colonies in 40 turns. Gues I am doing something wrong.
Starmapcreation is as "useless" as in GalCivII There are 6 starsystems close to my homeworld, and not one habitable planet. Then I came across a corner of the galaxy, where 9 out of 10 planets are 20+. FIrst I thought "bad luck", but I had already 20 games like this. Not funny, it reminds me of GalCivII where I never played with a random map, but always created one with a tool. Mind, number of planets is on "abundtant", number of habitable planets as well. This
