In the older builds, Durantium, Elerium and Antimatter had their own colours - Thulium and Promethion too - in the latest Opt-In all these have been changed to white symbols on the galactic map rather than the colors they used to be before. To be honest, it's now harder to identify things on the map and it feels "cluttered" too look at on a glance, would it be possible to bring the old colors back again please?

Stardock, is there going to be a new UI for custom race colours in the near future? In GC2 there was a selection system and a set of slider bars that allowed you to choose the color of your territory on the minimap, the color of the in game UI, the hull and engine colors for ships, but right now all we have is a set of drop-down menus with pre-set color choices for each option.
