I would like to mod dead planets to be minable for durantium/thulium/promethium + occasionally some of the minor resources (no anti-matter) at a higher return than the standard resource. Maybe 5x or 10x depending on how rare the planets will be. The main thing is to make some of the hundreds of dead planets have some value in the game.
thulium and promethion ARE (minable) dead planets</p

The Altarians (at least pre Crusade) often go for a Tech-Victory, if they get a decent amount of planets early on and you are distracted with war, they can actually win the game (already happend to me xD)
you could try watching a "lets play"s on youtube. I personally had no problem switching from mercenaries to crusade, but i did watch most of the twitch streams, so i had a pretty good idea what changed.
Hi, I don't know whether anyone else has mentioned this but in 2.3 when you attempt to eject a ship form a fleet, it then shows the wrong ships when you attempt to move. (ie you try to click on a ship which has been split off and instead find yourself moving the parent fleet). Has anybody else had this problem? Cheers, Jon
Nope
Arcean Starbases reduce the movement of fleets, but this should go away if you leave their space.
@Larsenex: Military is Ship Construction
Even just updating the Blueprints is easiely a few days of work if you want to do it right (you have to actually take a look at how the AI researches and keep in mind how it gives out ship-roles) have done this for both the Basegame and Crusade and its a frustrating work -.-
Two way Treaties should be ok (no update to that file), PlanetTraitDefs.xml was updated, so "Enhanced Planet Traits and Features" might need an update Not sure about Star Diversity
agreed (they arent useless to slavers but to everyone else)
Yeah we really get to many habitable planets on rare, ~500 on a the biggest map when the max is 640 seems just not right. also even if you mod it to allow more habitable planets you only get ~1000 on abundant, which seems wierd seeing that the modifier in the xml ranges from 0.1(rare) to 66(abundant)
Only in b), but since its marked as a two-way treaty this doesnt work. You need to add the bonus as a giver, but last time i checked, the treatys are bugged so you can get them every time you can trade with the AI, making them completly OP.
They start with (really strong) factories, unlike other civs which need to research them
[...] Tourism currently is only enabled by InterstellarTourism Tech which actually enables Tourism for the game (CanTourism Effect turned on) in MasterTechDefs.XML. I can find no other place that it is enabled. InterstellarTourism Tech can only be researched along with its preceding research techs by Diplomatic Ability Races. Although for some reason the first Tourism Building PortofCall is en
You need it to upgrade research-improvements and for the movement-support modules, so early game its really not worth all that much
There is also a mercenary invasion-ship, not sure if you actually need legions for it or if it comes with its own
The Sandbox-games, start before all of those things did happen as far as i understand it
Having 11 planets at turn 50 seems pretty normal to me, depending on your settings you can have even more.
Aquatic lose access to some wonders, But it is one of the stronger life types. Actually carbon based life seems to be pretty weak But there might be some hidden or not so obvious things (There is at least one tech you can only get by taking two abilities for example)
As far as i could see its still the same
Most of the Iconian Techs are linked to the Ancient ability, Starfaring has the Ultimate Adaptability Tech. No Idea which ability got the remaining ones^^ (or if they are even in the Crusade)
If you havent jet open a support ticket" its usually the faster way to get an answer
Yeah more likly that you want a small or tiny constructor
Another nice one would be by ressources.
Not sure if these were already on your internal list or if I helped, either way, good job on the last patch. Except for the very occasional crash, the game is in excellent form. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Interesting, i havent got a single crash in this beta
I think card is okay, AMD Radeon R9 M395x. The game was flawless prior to 1.9 (worse after 2.0). The OP detailed the issue pretty well and as others have described, there are arbitrary shadows appear when zooming in or out. That doesn't seem like a performance hit. I hope its fixed with Crusade.
If you havent jet, send a ticket to support. Im running a Radeon R9 290 and dont have this issue.
