I'm trying to play the base campaign again before I get into the retribution campaign, but nothing I've tried so far has worked. When running the default version of the game [with or without the DLC], colony improvements are unbalanced and don't function the way they should, and the tech tree is completely broken. After that I tried running GC3 Classic with no DLC, since I figured that would be the most compatible. I was right for the most part as all the bugs were fixed and the c

"- diplomacy, get off my lawn" FINALLY!
What they should do is make Mega Events scale in difficulty based on how powerful the factions are at that point in the game like they used to in GC2.
I just hope this doesn't splinter the community.
That ship sailed with the reward DLC. Other than that, I agree, having the wheel makes the game more open-ended and keeps to the tradition of the previous GC games being able to control your economic focus.

Since two days ago, I've encountered a glitch where some resized parts will revert to their default size when you build a custom ship made or edited after what was presumably an update. The ship in the designer. The ship actually built. No matter how much I edit the glitched parts, including deleting and recreating them, they stay glitched.
This is exactly what I needed. Thanks.
Is anyone else getting a bug where some ship parts will change their size when you build the ship in a shipyard? It just started happening to me yesterday.

You'll love steam trading cards. They're fun and gullible traders will give you a fortune on CS:GO, Team Fortress 2, and Dota 2 for them.
I have the steam overlay coming up just fine on my end, but GC3 still won't access the workshop. (I already tried restarting steam.)
I noticed in InvasionStyleDefs.xml that technology prerequisites work like this: TechTree Is it possible to make an invasion prerequisite that requires a ship or a certain kind of ship (Such as an armed ship.) to be present in a fleet or the invading transport?
Beautiful.
Honestly, I have no idea why they changed the terminology to 'annex.' It's confusing, nonsensical, and innacurate. The planet is rebelling against an empire of its own volition, not being forcibly claimed.
I doubt that site would be needed for long after the workshop release anyway. Someone will no doubt create some kind of extractor for the workshop's mod files. (If the game devs don't release that extractor themselves, like in Skyrim and Garry's Mod.)
