I have no idea why the devs praise this AI as if it were the best AI ever. For the first 50 turns, or maybe 100 turns, it probably is one of the best AIs I have seen. But after that, it goes brain dead and stays that way. It refuses to put starbases in the right spot or even build starbases, which is head scratching considering it has 20 constructors sitting there doing nothing. It builds hilariously bad fleets, and loves to build cheap junk ships even when it ha

The AI should always value constructors and colony ships pretty high, unless there are no more colonizable planets. If it doesn't, you buy its entire fleet of constructors for a couple techs for no admins, and it loses admins. It also had values warships too cheaply before, but a bit too expensive now. Before the nerf, you could buy every warship every AI owned for practically nothing, and the only thing that stopped you was maintenance costs, which some techs ca
What exactly did it fix? I don't see any notes anywhere about it.
We can ignore the problem, but that's no excuse to not have it fixed. AI values ALL ships too cheaply. Especially though, mercs, and administrator ships, but all warships are way too cheap. Buying an administrator ship from the AI should require you to have a free administrator of your own, and deduct it from your total while the AI gets it back. This completely cripples the AI, and the best way to beat the AI right now is to buy all of its ships whenever yo
