Now before I start I want to say that I really like the whole Ideology thing that has been introduced in GCIII I just feel that collecting IP (Ideology Points) is a little unbalanced just now. So what I was going to suggest was a possible change the devs could look into doing? Also if anyone else has ideas or conflicts with what I say then please say. I love criticism and can take it very well OK so here goes: Firstly I think the points th
yh i agree modders most likely will wait till a major release. Who know they may add steam workshop support to the game ^^
Not too sound like a total noob. Even though I am a lot of the time? But founders badge? lol Where the hell would I find that?
Ok yes ideology is based solely on how many planets you can colonize and size of map. So maybe a rejig of how many points it takes to upgrade the idoelogy per upgrade? Like Civ V - Hate this game - culture? But I did find u can pretty much max out one of the trees after about 10 planets O but thank you to everyone that has had some feedback. And I see that not everyone has the same opinion as me. Which is understandable, I did have
In my personally opinion I think ideology is far too cheap, and they dont stack very well. e.g. if you are going for a benevolent race it should also make all other ideologies harder to get, this way it should discourage you from trying to get all 3 ideologies. In my current game, an immense map turn 266, I have now maximised Benevolent and Malevolent and half way to maxing pragmatic. This to me seems like ideology is far far too cheap and can easily be maxed pret
I to think that tourism is a little overpowered, OK REALLY overpowered. It is far too easy to research your way into tourism then spam a couple colonies into influence and watch the money roll in. I think there definately should be a balance in place for tourism. As in my current game I have literally had the slider at 0%wealth for the whole entire game and now, at turn 266, I have 27977bc and earning 683bc per turn. To put that in terms of actual income from tourism - I earn 16bc from saving
Tescted it out yet again. And it works over time. So planets take quite a number of turns to join ur empire. at least now in the opt-in beta 4
Beta 4 just starting an opt in game now
Thank you very much for the reply ^^
I don't know if this is a bug or not but I have used Enticing a couple of times now and it does not "steal" planets like it used to at least in beta 3? I dont know if this is how it is meant to work or what? Is it only meant to be a one time effect or a constant effect? If it is a one time effect I feel it is pretty much useless as Prom III and may be better at Prom V? Where you will have more planets under your influence?
Well, my solution is to make starbases kinda like shipyards.
Agree so so much. This would make Starbases so much easier to handle. And then you can say decide how much "military" spending you would contribute and that would help build modules for the starbase
I was wondering if a dev could answer this and how many others are willing to have this. One of the main things I really liked about Gal Civ II was the campaign they had in it. Still go back to it from time to time. So I was wondering if the dev team are planning on bringing a campaign mode into this game as well? Others can also comment whether or not they enjoyed the campaign in gal civ II and if they think it is worthwhile bringing another one
