That's because my card is oldish, and 12.4 is stable. Unlike more recent drivers. It was how I got something -- Civ5? Skyrim? FNV? -- to work properly. Forget which game I was having issue with.

Hmm. You know, it just occured to me that we could get the same effect by modding the game. Granted, other people wouldn't see our star names, but so what? Too bad I don't have a girlfriend: the whole idea of naming a star after her sounds like a good tactic.
