The command "sectorlines" does not work, and the description text seems to fit GC2 more than it does GC3? "Help sectorlines has the description: "The sector lines command will toggle the rectangular sector lines on and off."
Yeah, some commands don't really seem to do anything right now. Or I don't understand how to use them. xD It's fun to play with though.
n00b Nah just kidding. In the top bar menu under "game", click " Activate product on Steam " then copy you code here.
Beat me too it ;D
At top of Steam window go to Games > Activate a Product on Steam click next > agree to the agreement > enter Code and click next Hope this helps!
Totally allowed? ^_^ That makes me want to make GalCiv3 videos!
You can buy it when it gets officially released in over a year from now. It will cost $49.99 on release. They recently had a Beta access/pre-order offer for $39.99 but it seems that you have missed that. For a "Long-time loyal fan" i'm surprised that you didn't hear about that.
https://store.stardock.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/myaccount/products go here and log in, and you will get your Key
There is a Debug Console in the game so you have some interesting commands to play with. Just hit the "`" key, it's above the Tab key. Type help and you can get a list of commands to try out! To get more info about a particular command just type "help command " there are some interesting ones like fps - displays fps along with other rendering statistics fow - which gets rid of Fog of War<br
I completely Agree! Just headed to the Steam Community Hub, and there are already people bitching about the price. People just don't understand what they are paying for. "$99 for an unfinished game?" This should not be available to buy on steam… maybe once the Beta is out… but not now. It's already giving the game a bad name. I don't care how much you put the word "ALPHA" on it, a lot of people are idiots and
Eastern UTC - 4 Availability - Sporadic. I have work and college to worry about.
This should be pinned or something, so we can consolidate the whole community into one group.
I agree, it would be an easy way to get in touch with others quicker.
I like it. It would force players to put thought into balancing the economy. And make puting anything to 100% much more costly and risky, since you can't just make a complete flip in economic focus in one turn.
Quoting Mikehibs, reply 5Plus, from a balance standpoint it might be a bit overpowered if you could research a tech and suddenly build these space stations around every start star you have. The influx in production would be way to sudden. I imagine the first level research would cost a lot, and would be mainly focused on building the structure. It wouldn't be highly efficient at power productio
Well they may all produce massive amount of energy, but i'm must saying some stars might be too powerful for current technology to handle, and a little more research is needed. I just think it would be a little more interesting if you needed different levels of technology. Plus, from a balance standpoint it might be a bit overpowered if you could research a tech and suddenly build these space stations around every start star you have. The influx in productio
I like this idea, but only as a very late game tech as you said. This reminds me of the Star Forge from Knights of the Old Republic, which makes this a very cool idea! To make it even more special, maybe only be able to do it to a certain type of star. Or only be able to do it to certain level of star depending on the level of the Technology.
Maybe if they get a Linux version of the game, you could play it on a steam machine. Maybe they will add support for the Steam Controller.
I understand what you are saying. I'm just saying that with all the stuff going on about it, I doubt anyone is willing to trust it. It can be as safe and secure as it wants… but all that really counts is the public perception of it, and currently it's not doing very well.
I think you will be fine. This is pure speculation, but if you can upgrade to 8 GB of RAM, i would recommend doing so. Because they are using 64-bit, they have the potential to use a lot more RAM. Not that you would need the more RAM, but it will probably be useful.
Maybe even have the ability to start playing as one of the rebel factions.. Would be kinda cool to lead rebellion against an established Civilization. Maybe even have a game simulated out until there was a rebellion, and then you pick up from there. Would be a nice challenge.
Bitcoins aren't doing so hot right now. Here is an example of what is going on. http://www.maximumpc.com/mtgox_files_bankruptcy_480_million_lost_2014 I doubt anyone is going to jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon, when they can easily just become worthless over night.
I got the same problem too. When i download the files on my mac, the files have .html at the end of them. when in delete the .html they work normally. When i download them on Windows, they work fine.
