Minor civ tech trading was a no brainer. There was really no downside to it, they couldn't use it against you so it was just a bunch of free techs. I would have liked them to do something else with minors, but that change was welcome.

It happened to me too, replaced all I could but kept crashing. It turns out it was fixed by replacing, but only on new games. Try starting a tiny galaxy to quickly find the bazaar to check it.
Finally! It's working [e digicons]:D[/e] Nothing helped and I was pretty sure I was doing every step as instructed (it's a simple installation after all), what did it was making Steam verify integrity of game files. Apparently something was missing because it downloaded some 16MB packet and now there's no incompatibility message. I'm going to start a new game right away, thanks for your help GrayLord and Gauntlet03!
Ok so I bought all the DLC and freed my evening to start a new game with this mod but I can't make it work :/ Mods are enabled beforehand, I follow the instructions copying everything on its respective folder, but when I start the game I get the same message after the loading screen: Incompatible civilization detected The civilization XXX is incompatible for the following reasons and will be using the ge
At least on Steam, Gold Pack will deduct the items you already own from the final price. At a -71% discount is a no brainer really other than the soundtrack being thrown in which I find not really worth it.
You are asking them to put on sale a product 1 month old. That's not going to happen.
I'm curious to know how much does the AI cheat on the highest difficulty of the Crusade expansion. I know, for comparison, that Civ VI's AI on deity starts with a ridiculous advantage (3 settlers and 5 warriors) and gets multiple bonuses to its cities. I remember reading years ago about GalCiv II and how adding extra levels of difficulty unlocked more complex algorithms that the AI could use to calculate its actions. I understand that there must be some bonuses to the AI in order to s
I was on the same situation, GalCiv III was a disappointment when it first came out. Crusade on the other hand, huuge improvemente over the base game, absolutely a must have if you want to experience that "one more turn" feeling. Additional DLC? I got the ones needed to run Gauntlet's Race Mod, I really recommend it if you are looking to play on bigger galaxies and need extra civs.
Thank you guys for both answers! Ook so I see there's actually a difference between factions and civilizations good to know. Hopefully they will give more love to you modders, specially since the game needs extra civs to fill in the galaxies! I'll check Seilore's factions as well, the more the merrier. I'm so happy I didn't settle on steam and payed a visit to the official forums ^^
Crusade brings me GalCiv II vibes, mainly because of the AI. I can't think of a better compliment. Definitely feels like the way to go.
Hi, I came here after looking through the Steam Workshop for factions to fill in the galaxy. Nothing catched my eye, but I saw your name popping everywhere although I coudn't find your content. After some research here I am excited to start an immense map full of different civilizations. I have a couple questions though if you don't mind: Will this mod work with the 2.3 opt-in? The legion multiplication bug annoys me to no end. <p style="paddin
I don't know if it is a bug or if it's supposed to work that way, but everytime I conquer a planet its population goes up tremendously even surpasing its pop cap. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
The slider had to go. It was not fun, if you didn't use it you felt you were losing out on efficiency, but fiddling with it every single turn was micro management hell. There's something wrong with a game if the most efficient way to play is the most boring.
