I've already tried that, didn't work, I've just tried again just in case (and AMD's drivers can be a major pain in the butt to re-install), still not working...

Hi guys, I was wondering if I can get some ideas and help with this. I've just installed the beta and I am having this weird issue, there is no text anywhere. When I load the game the splash screens have text, but the first window that pops up is blank, then after pressing the blank button I get to the main screen with a bunch of blank menus and buttons too. I've tried restarting the PC, re-installing the game, manually running / installing the gc3_font_setup file (I think I saw thi

Farm colonies would be great, actually the option for resource re-allocation on empire level would be great lol
Yep, I completely agree, I almost never use the food tiles to build farms on, a fully researched xeno farm on a non food bonus tile doubles the population of an average planet of 8-14 quality (8 to 16bn) and that requires two extreme stadiums to keep approval in the mid 70s under meaningful taxation and star federation government, a farm on a food-bonus tile on such planet would mean like 24bn population (if 100% bonus) and 4-6 extreme stadiums to maintain same approval, depending on taxation

I've just bought the gama and can't wait to get my hands on it :) :) Since I'm way overexcited, I'm thinking in terms of my own idea of what the perfect 4x star game would be, what would you like to see in such a game? I wonder if some of these will be part of GC3... - 3D-Galaxy with stars and planets not on a flat map but in three dimensions, plus star map functionality to quickly highlight things (say sector maps, fleet movements, civilian vessels
Yay, I've just bought GalCiv III, so another happy owner here :) I think Stardock needs a bit more noise about the game, I've been a huge fan of both GalCiv 2/3 for years (still playing GC2 Ultimate) and I found out they were working on GC3 by mere chance :) Mainly playing GC2 and Civ5 for the time being, but I'm curious about Distant Worlds, looks huge and complex, just how I like them, I'd rather play one hugely complex map/scenario for, say, 2 weeks rather than a si
