All three registry folders (GalCiv2 plus the two subfolders DarkAvatar and Twilight) contain the "Language=English" REG_SZ, but all three also contain a "(Default)=(Value not set)" REG_SZ as well... Could that be what is screwing this up?

I just installed the game (via download from Impulse), and after updating my NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 driver on Windows Vista Home Premium OS, I got all the way through the setting up of new game.
