Thirded. I really like it, but I also like South Park. I think the game is genuinely funny on its own, but it's also clearly made with the assumption that you know these characters, the world, the style of humor, and are at least somewhat fluent with the many, many references to the show that are in it. It's a fantastic game for fans of South Park and a funny, though kind of confusing light RPG for everyone else.

I love this. Humans always seem to be hapless victims in sci-fi, so it'll be fun to turn the tables for once! I think I remember reading that there would be two human factions? If so, it would be interesting if there were two campaigns - one where you just go on a rampage to exterminate the Drengin with this character's faction, and another where you maybe take a more tempered approach with the other faction.

Hi all! I don't even remember how I discovered GalCiv II, but I remember I bought a boxed version that came with Dread Lords at some point before Twilight of the Arnor came out, and it immediately became one of those games that I always go back to several times a year. I play a lot of video games, but I suppose you'd still call me a casual gamer in that I enjoy games for the story rather than the challenge. Though I've never actually played any of the three campaigns in the second

^ Agreed. Whatever form the Drengin "democracy" takes, it doesn't mean that it will be anything like the way we think it should, and it wouldn't necessarily be corrupt since it's their own system. This isn't something that ever really bothered me, but I will take any chance to give the factions more flavor. I like the idea suggested above of giving each race their own version of government changes. The Drengin could start out as Imperial and then evolve until the

I've only played a little bit, but it really has me impressed so far. They completely nailed the feel of the show in every way - though that shouldn't be surprising since Matt and Trey were heavily involved. Exploring South Park is a lot of fun and the combat is cool and involved too. I'm really happy this turned out great.
