After uninstalling both Stardock and Digital Persona, I was able to reinstall Digital Persona and get my logon functionality back to normal. I still would like to be able to change my logon screen background image... if indeed there is a workaround for this problem. If anybody has some advice on what I can do to rectify this problem, please let me know. Thanks.

I installed Stardock Logon Studio on my Vista x64 HP Laptop with fingerprint reader software (Digital Persona). Upon completion, I noticed that the fingerprint reader icon no longer displayed status information below the fingerprint icon. Also, when I would log on, a Logon User Process error would occur. Well, I think I've gotten closer to narrowing down the problem... It appears to me that the issue at hand is Stardock conflicting with fingerprint reader software installed (DigitalPersona). Somehow, it created an issue in the registry. The only other entry I found on-line that mentions this was by another user in this sub forum, and they also have an HP laptop with fingerprint reader. So, I'm going to see if I can uninstall the DigitalPerson
