No such thing as too many options.

HAH! That is hilarious!
What's the point of playing MP if you can't play your custom factions?
So my 2 buddies and I all made custom civs and we tried again today to play a small map together with 3 AIs. We actually got to the main map today and they got booted. Are we ever going to be able to multiplay?
You should document it in some way. Screenshots or a video or something.
I've noticed that ranged units are stupidly powerful compared to melee units. What is up with that?
I bought Legendary Heroes the day it came out. NO AI! I mean this thing was as dumb as a post... and the font was atrocious. Worst $40 I've ever spent.

I vote for more roguelike! But seriously, the dude talking about more endgame goals is on the right path. 2 options is so 1991, amirite?
I LOVE this post!
Just gonna leave this here. http://steamcommunity.com/app/226860/discussions/1/541907867791040684/
Take a step back and look at how ridiculous you're being. Even if they did all this and even if it was for "malicious" intent, most companies do that now what with on-disk DLC and whatnot. If you wanted to stop that trend, you missed the boat by about 10 years or so. Stop. Just stop.
See and here I was trying to be constructive and helpful. You have made my night, sir.
Quoting Antilurker77, reply 90 This is hardly a conspiracy. This type of practice is unfortunately way too common these days. I was referring to the utter certainty you have. You aren't even entertaining a possibility in reply #89 where
He's answered my questions... It couldn't hurt, right? Also, Derek Paxton was a huge help in the beta with a resolution bug I had. Part of the reason I like Stardock is because they actually DO answer questions.
I snerked. Well done, sir.
Way to give it your almost. That's the can-do spirit that makes change. If this is really that important to you, do something about it like I did. If it's not, go away.
What if I think the map packs and editor should have been included for free? I don't but I'm sure someone would... probably on the STEAM forums. Also, have you talked to any of the higher-ups about your issues? Brad's always been cool to me on twitter. Maybe you and he could debate this?
Ah, but I've finished saying my piece.
Antilurker, no need to be argumentative. Let it go. You've said your piece... multiple times.
Antilurker77, I used to be like you. I hated DLC and actively railed against it. The companies have won. DLC is here to stay. Give it up, man. All we can do now is vote with our wallets.
==== Though, I have to admit I find it funny that one poster is upset that too much was put in this DLC while another poster was(is?) upset that not enough was put in. [e digicons];P[/e]
How is this guy upset that too much was put in? He's upset that they "took it out" of the patch. Did they? Don't know or care. My purview is price for content. His thing is the existence of the DLC to begin with. Si
It's the principle of the thing to me. If Brad hadn't assured me there were more than 5 events, I'd be outraged because 5 for $5 is a ripoff IMO. I'm mollified but my eye is ever open.
So long as there are more than 5 events for $5, I'm fine with it. I hate DLC but I see the way the winds are blowing. I only get really outraged when I feel I'm being flim-flammed by crappy deals. That's why I got upset earlier. No less than Brad Wardell himself assured me personally that the DLC contains more than what was shown. As he and his company have never given me reason to doubt his word, I've dropped my own complaint. Don't think my eye has wavered. If I
