This next one is huge. I think this is the best ship I've created so far. I needed a huge centerpiece for my medium fleets so here it is. A combined carrier/battleship -design: the Invictus class dreadnought. Something big. Something even bigger. Something huge! I spent a while making a new huge hulled vessel that works either as a fleet support or a straight up battleship variant for my Republic of Mannerheim Navy.
This one's my first attempt at creating an actually good looking ship with a spinning section. The central ring of that medium scout in my earlier message does not have a spinning section. Here are some of mine. First a bunch of medium hulled frigates and a troop transport followed by large hull cruisers. All of these were inspired by various pictures of scifi ships, series or fanfic. Special thanks to Gauntlet and the endless number of small trinket components he has put forth. Well I dont think I'm actually culturally flipping anyone. I'm getting this even when I have no border contact with anyone or culture starbases near other civs borders. I should've paid attention at which point and after which tech they started acting out like this.
I'm getting the cultural flip accusation/deterioration of relations bug too. Civilizations from across the galaxy bitch at me for trying to flip their planets and I get that -3 to relations with everyone.
I dont have any modding skills apart from simple value changing here and there. What do you mean "not with us"? As in "Moved on to other games" or "No longer on this mortal plane of existence"?
I take it that this mod has finally died? :(
It seems that fix alone is not enough. I'm still unable to build mining modules on every other starbase type. Any ideas how to proceed from here? Edit. And of course the moment I give up and start whining here is the moment I get it to work.

How the hell do you run a 50-race game succesfully? I'm running this on a pretty good rig and my game creation starts ctd'ng on insane maps with 15-20 races.
Well I guess I can take comfort in the fact that my allies are close at hand if I'm attacked. If only they stopped blocking my shipyards.

That "Get off my lawn" -option would be useful right about now. :P
There's nothing more frustrating than having that one or those two obsolete designs in all of your fleets. So you decide to replace them. Go to the control menu and order all of those ships to a rally point for decommissioning or selling to your neighbours. Bu 'lo and behold, unlike in GalCiv2 here the ships wont automatically leave their fleets when you order the entire class. And since I'm whining, why the hell cant I see anywhere how many of each type of ship I got?
In my case the game freezes and starts hogging all the memory in my machine, basically freezing it if I'm not fast enough in closing the program from the control panel.
I tested if any other mod cause this problem but no, it's this one. Still the latest version. Vanilla game works fine. Damn queer. I started tiny maps with the Thalan, removed fow, used the starting reseach on universal translation and could wow eternal friendship and all immediately. Save the game, exit to menu, load save and the extra chat option is removed.
I should've been more precise. I dont have an "lets talk about something else" -option when opening the diplomacy window with other races. At all. After a clean installation. EDIT: Actually the option is there when I start a new game, but disappears after loading a save. I didnt notice this before because I have often saved/loaded before encountering new races I could actually understand.
