Vladimir from League of Legends was different enough conceptually not to be connected to the Vampire Lord from Demigod, mostly because he uses blood as an offensive medium somehow, but can this really be considered an original character by any means? http://na.leagueoflegends.com/news/champion-sneak-peek-zyra-rise-thorns ...compare to... <a href="http://www.demigodthegame.com/origins/

The creative concepts are what really make the game stand out. Just take The Rook and The Torchbearer for a few examples, given their background stories and abilities. Too bad so few players care about creative content in games nowadays...

Well, some people seem to complain about the lack of tutorial, but from my personal experience back when I first started, the game is very simple in terms of controls, so that makes it very newbie friendly in my opinion. Nor are there any mechanics that really make you sweat or jump out of your seat to succeed in. Yet at the same time the game is complex enough to provide an engaging experience. I can spend hours in it no problem, even in singleplayer, because of how addicting the gam

Well, that's normal for a game like Demigod. Lots of players like playing co-op. And for guaranteed non-passworded games, join the Pantheon. It's pretty much the auto-matchmaking in Demigod, as opposed to the custom match list. In most multiplayer games with matchmaking, the ranked auto-matchmaking is where most players are while custom games are just there for people to play with friends under password protection or try something new out, etc.</

Awesome. So there is active support and the game wasn't just thrown out on Steam as a quick money grab. If Demigod gets a good multiplayer/competitive community going, that'll just be epic.

I'm more concerned about changes after the the Steam release. In that, I hope there will be changes/updates/patches with patch notes posted here and in Steam news. Support is vital to ensure the game doesn't die off a second time.

144 players online. And these are just the early birds who bought the game right after release on Steam and installed off the bat. Will be fun to see how high the count goes. I just hope the devs actually start up some support and updates on the game's development. That's pretty much a must nowadays to ensure a game lives and thrives. Not to mention possibly adding more demigods and definitely adding more maps.

Just did the same thing, with one exception: I had registered a Stardock account here to post on this forum before actually buying the game. No problems with logging in for me though. Can access Multiplayer fine, browse the list of custom games, etc. Perhaps you're mistyping your password? Or perhaps you're trying to login with your e-mail address rather than your username?

Just had to register a new account since I've switched e-mails and usernames and everything since my original registration here back after the game's original release and just wanted to call out to the devs about the registration form. The buttons are iffy, since you can't tell if you actually hit them or not. And the final registration page, where you enter your password, hangs for a while before completing registration. I hit the Continue button several t

OH. MY. GOD. I have been waiting for this day forever. I had gotten Demigod back when it was first released and loved it, but the game died off due to hacking apparently and other issues, which really upset me, since the Torchbearer is probably in the top 10 or even the top 5 of my favorite video game characters ever, and many of the other heroes from Demigod are not far behind. I loved the characters' background stories, their sound effects, the game's graphic
