I know... ;) All ships are unlocked. The ships simly doesn't show up when I scroll down. That means all cargo hulls are missing and a big part of huge hulls. So it's not a problem with some designs or specific ship hulls, it's the number of designs. At some point they simply disapear. I can scroll down but the window where the ships are listed is blank. I filed the ticket.

I downloaded a lots of ships from Steam Workshop. I am working on a game where every race has its own shipstyle. Now here my problem: When I scroll down in designer on the shiplist, at some point all the designs are disapearing. Yeah, its unbelivable, that things worked in GalCiv2 are now so hard to fix in GalCiv3. This game is a major step backwards...

No its not! Assault Carriers use the EscortCarrierModule. It is spelled correctly in all three XML files. You are right about the AssaultCarrierModule but somehow the Carriers are present. they use the assault modules. But i think i found the problem. In ShipComponentDefs.xml there is an entry in EscortCarrierModule, row 6. AssaultCarrierModule i guess it should be EscortCarrierModule instead of AssaultCarrierModule. &nbs
I just noticed that the game is not using the assault carrier templates. I checked the XML's for FactionShipStyleSetDefs, ShipClassDefs and ShipBlueprintDefs. Everything is in place. There is an existing blueprint, there is an existing shipclass and there is a correct entry in the faction ship list. Why is the game not showing them anymore? Is this intended or just another bug?

Hi, i dont know is it on porpouse or just a mistake but since the patch to 1.1 i cant access the console anymore. it is realy anoying because this is the only way to design ships without having to play hours and hours just to get access to larger hulls. i must say im realy disapointed in wich direction this game is going. we have the final release and its still not working. with every patch it gets worse. i tryed to implement some ships from steam workshop and when i click on them to use them

Hi, I tried to clean up my game and delete some shipdesigns and parts I´m not satisfied with anymore. No matter what I do this ships and parts come back again as soon as I close my game. I already reinstalled the game, enabled and disabled steam overlay, deleted them before starting game, while game was running and after I closed game. Result is always the same. Renaming them doesn´t help either, it just makes it worse because I have now several duplicates. So it w
i checked my mod and i have my own ShipClassDefs.xml. i didnt put in every ship from the other factions beacause i just wanted to change some of the ships. my file is renamed so it shouldnt replace the original ShipClassDefs.xml, it just ads my ships to the existig terran ships. if i understand you right, i have to put all the ships in this file, even if i use the original ones? usualy the game complaines about double entrys.
is it possible that the game wont give free ships if i have a negative income? I tried again a game and I got my free construcktors with positive income, but on my mod still no free ships.
same here, game has the latest version and i start everytime a new game to see if it works. never obsoleted ships just deleted some of my own designs. so this shouldnt affekt the original game designs...
Hi, I have a problem with ideological traits. I unlocked enough points to aply on Benevolent I Pioneering, Pragmatic I Constructive and Malevolent I Militaristic. All this traits should give me some ships. Pioneering gives a fully loaded colony ship, constructive three constructor vessels and militaristic a free frigate. When I aply the points they are gone but I dont get the ships. I updated my game to actual version. No change! I deleted my game with all local data o
i tested it with both versions. 1.0 and 1.01. the problem is on both versions. now that you mention it i deleted some of my own shipdesigns. i didnt made them obsolete i deleted a colony and a survey design... but i dont see how this would affect the game since custom designs are ignored by the game if it comes to spawning... at least i had a crash everytime i tried to choose my own designs as standard designs.
Ok, i tested the new patch and game crashes when i want to leave a running game to main menu... i tried to go back to 1.0 but the problem remains... on weekend i didnt had this problem no matter how often i quit a running game. the other problem i have discovered today is when you reach traits the free ships you get dont appear. not the three constructors or the fully loaded colonyship nor the frigate... your points just vanish and you get no ships. on weekend it worked. anyone else experianc
Hi, i have an issue with the shipdesigner. When i try to build a custom ship, (not a new design just new weapons and equipment on an existing hull) or try to modify an existing ship, game crashes when i try to save my ship. It seem to happen when im working a bit longer on the design. When i put only two or three modules on it, it works. I enebled all ships in game options to be able to use designs of all factions. Unfortunately the crash happens randomly so i cant fin
