Turning down the UI volume fixed the annoyance, thanks for pointing to that option. I think the problem about the click sound is, that it feels like it's so much louder than the rest of the UI sound effects. Or maybe because it is repeated over and over if the user is scrolling the list. I obviously can not check if it is the same annoying sound as in the beta, but the issue was observed in a 2014 alpha/beta feedback posting alr

Hi there, so i used the Search and found a lot of closed topics. If moderators should decide to close mine as well, please merge at least merge the contents into the appropriate Thread. GC3 is great in a lot of ways. But it also has a lot of flaws. I would like to start posting my notes and maybe someone knows a solution to some of my problems or can point me to a posting from developers if some issues already got acknowledged. <p
