Is anyone else having the issue of the game seeming to be overpowered when it comes to weaponry?

I think I found an annoying bug. When it's voted on to ban civilization from establishing colonies or bases in another civilizations ZOC is passed it apparently makes it to where you can't colonize any planet, in or out of any ZOC.
Was wondering how we can delete a shipyard if we didnt want it, the selecting and hitting of the delete key doesn't seem to work?
When may we expect the next installment that may fix some of the battle bugs, like a fully armored and armed warship somehow getting destroyed by an unarmed survey ship, another with the battle not even taking place even though it has been confirmed, stuff like that?
I just started playing the alpha last night and even for an alpha, wow. There are some things I would have liked to see already but I do understand it is only an alpha (I did heed the message). There is a learning curve to where things are and what does what but it's not too bad. I look forward to the beta. I love testing games and seeing if there are things that need to be tweaked, like in Endless space. So far the only thing I'm wondering on the the galactic resources, they are ther
Hiya All, My only real nitpick about this game and the other Galciv games is the way the weaponry and defenses are handled, i mean it just makes it pretty predictable on what to do on your ship depending on which race you are fighting at the time, because their weapon and defenses of choice are the same, all the time, which makes it an easy win. Maybe later on they might sort this out, but on previous games,
Where do I download the game game at?
I just upgraded to the elite pack. Now correct me if I'm wrong but I should have access to the elite stuff immediately right?....now to name a star and i love the fact that the elites get the DLC and stuff like that. [e digicons][/e]
I'm wondering if I can upgrade my edition to the Elite founders for the DLC and stuff?
I think just to round off Star Trek ships, build one Romulan Warbird class and one Cardasian Galor Class Cruiser. After that probably whatever comes to mind as I get inspired. You know we never would have been able to build ships this good in GalCiv2. The shipyard is so well rounded its just going to get better and better with the updates. I predict GalCiv III will be Game of the Year 2015-2016 because of people like us testi

Glad I'm not the only one. [e digicons][/e]
Im liking how the game sounds like its shaping up. I was wondering if their is a ship component to allow the players to make a carrier class type of ship?
