I guess the title says it all. Will there be a founders edition / alpha for GalCiv IV? Thanks.

Would that help with performance? Or it do
So when development starts on GalCiv4 then I'd say go DirectX 12 from the start! Then these new mega core CPUs can be truly allowed to run free! :)
LOL
So when do we sign up for the lifetime founders version? :D
Can't wait to take it out for a spin!!
Can't wait for this to unlock tomorrow!
So my system specs are: Core i7 920 @ 2.7ghz, Gigabyte X58A-UD3R, 12GB DDR3, Samsung 850EVO SSD, two GTX970 video cards(SLI enabled but using nvidia default). I did not use the -NoMinSpec command line switch, but had used -cheat, and started the maximum game allowed on my machine per v3.04. This was an Immense sized galaxy, occasional stars, abundant planets with abundant habitable ones, common resources, abundant asteroids, uncommon nebula and black holes. I played to turn 44
A command line switch is being added to the latest opt-in V3.04. https://forums.galciv3.com/489617/page/1/#3718261
Derek is their an opt-in?
I like the warning idea vs the no choices idea. Thanks for sending it up the chain Sean!
I don't see any restrictions that I can modify in MapSizeDefs.xml that removes the hard limit. I could make the maps smaller but that doesn't really allow me to play on the bigger map sizes. Am I missing something?? Thanks Using the hack of editing the prefs.ini file does work. So it makes for an added step 1 minute before starting the game.... that I'll play for hours! LOL Thanks guys.
Brad, Will Galciv3 Founders get the stand alone expansion as part of the original lifetime founders package or will be considered an entirely different product. If option two is the case let us know when we can sign up for the founders edition on that one please. :) Haven't had a chance to play with the new ship parts (no days off since release) but I'm looking forward to it. Loving the game guys!! Thanks
Brad I've been enjoying all of the DLC and free perks you've been developing. I gave mercs a good review and a thumbs up in Steam. I like it. Thanks for making a great game even better!
Just got a reply from development team. Menu crash issue has been resolved on their internal build.
Access denied. Ditto.
I have also had the crashing to desktop issue. I entered a support ticket and included my save game file.

Will we be getting a beta password for steam?
So I was watching LOTR Two Tower on my Samsung big screen until I noticed the patch download on steam. That was the prompting to try my PC on the 55" for the first time today. Let's just say the Gal Civ 3 alpha 3 is looking pretty nice. :)
Quick first impression feed back on the new tech tree. Tech Tree The popup with the current research should be in the upper left by the 4 tech tree types/subdivisions. Visually I see it as your current research being more to the left and future should be free on the right side The pop up on the right currently block the upper right most techs making them hard to see. If it blocks tech on the left this is less important as you hav
I would really appreciate seeing edge scrolling in the game too!
