In playing, I have found that an effective strategy is to focus each planet on a one resource. This has allowed me to easily outstrip the AIs. By building only buildings for a single resource and setting the planet's governance to that resource once it is done the initial buildup, it becomes extremely productive to the point that I don't see any benefit to splitting it's focus. Am I missing something? Is there some strategy or fluke that I am overlooking? I

I think that a cap on the number of sensors on a ship would be good. Ether a hard limit or some sort of increasing size as you add more... probably just a hard cap, maybe 3 or 5 or something. That way you actually have to get more advanced ones.

Lately, I've had enormous success by entirely dedicating each planet to ether production, research, or money. However, I would like mixed focus words to be a viable option, perhaps with a tech line for that. What are your thoughts on this? Do you consider it a problem? I would also like to ask that the annomelly frequency option be split into annomelly density and annomelly respawn rate options, that ship firepower numbers be changed to dps so we can bet

I had this same issue. Rebuilding the GalCiv3 file worked for me too, thanks! I would like to send you the file, now GalCiv3.old, to dissect, as well as the 3 error logs I have from trying to figure it out. Can you provide an email for me to send them to? I think it started when I tried to play as a custom race with the synthetic trait...
