Uzee!!, I've just spent a great deal of time to create perfect drive image of my PC. It's been for me a big pain in the ... Lots of programs and right now finally 100% updated and to my satisfaction. So, frankly I'm not looking toward the possibility of uninstalling my SP2. I tried all versions of BootSkin, but non works on my system. I have this problem with system that has had installed SP2 prior to any installation of Stardock software . I just upgraded my HD and I installed Windows XP SP2 before all. Yes, I followed all the steps above, but BootSkin loads a little bit and then crashes the computer. When I had the old HD, I installed SP2, when all other software was already on it. Thanks for your posts guys. I tried almost all your suggestions with no effect. I totally agree with Lady D 's comment: Sorry to disagree guys but i tried all that and got the same thing No Bootskin. I see the skin load on start up but then my screen goes soild black & windows WILL NOT start normal unless i remove Bootskin program. To

As many of you know by now, Windows XP SP2 is causing problems when using BootSkin. I read some threads on this issue, but I do not see the solution despite some recommendations. The problem that I have is with Windows XP SP2 ONLY when installed BEFORE BootSkin is being installed. I think that must be it, because I had Windows XP SP2 installed AFTER installation of BootSkin and I had only minor difficulties but nothing serious. Right now I'm not able to use BootSk
