Yes it worked on my old HD, probably because SP2 was installed as the last thing.

I have this problem with system that has had installed SP2 prior to any installation of Stardock software . I just upgraded my HD and I installed Windows XP SP2 before all. Yes, I followed all the steps above, but BootSkin loads a little bit and then crashes the computer. When I had the old HD, I installed SP2, when all other software was already on it. As many of you know by now, Windows XP SP2 is causing problems when using BootSkin. I read some threads on this issue, but I do not see the solution despite some recommendations. The problem that I have is with Windows XP SP2 ONLY when installed BEFORE BootSkin is being installed. I think that must be it, because I had Windows XP SP2 installed AFTER installation of BootSkin and I had only minor difficulties but nothing serious. Right now I'm not able to use BootSk
