I'm hoping the AI will be toned down some even on "beginner" setting they are racking up 150-300k power in only 100 turns. 40+ planets and 100-200 ships each race! I've tried so many tactics to at least make the game enjoyable but I have found none that work. Even cranking out ships like a can factory I still do not get close. Has anyone else seen this as a problem with the AI on beginner setting?
Thecw, I don't have a 1st turn save, but going forward I will practice this. As to help better debug the game. As for the settings, everything was set to default except for map size to largest playable now and all AI to beginner. I feel this was a random bug that may not happen again or only every-so-often. I have a 2nd game that I'm working on. It will take a couple days for me
Franco...LOL each AI had 40 plus planets and 140 plus ships each! All of them were well over 200k power
Largest Map setting, all available races in play. Also, not a beginner...been playing games like this since the original CIV Will start over and hope this is a bug.
Whats going on with the AI...on beginner setting the AI was able to create 150+ ships and colonize 40+ planets showing strength in the area of 300k-400k. All in only 100-200 turns. I had 5 planets and 12 ships...my power was 85k. Is there something wrong with the settings for beginner level?
