It went from the 1% per planet to a flat rate of -.2 approval per planet. So with 20 planets you get -4 approval.

"Reduced the large empire approval penalty " I think they need to redo the math if this change is considered a Reduction. The old system it was some what annoying when you got upwards of 50+ planets to Impossible to have positive approval after like 100, The new system right now even 20 planets manage to tank your approval (even with 2 points in content). I hardly see this as a REDUCTION of its effect.
ummm the I5-7 is not the number of cores in your system that is basically the name of the processor. I suggest Google fooing for more info.
The only good thing about them pushing it out the door is that they plan at least 5-10 years worth of expansions and DLC (unfortunately that's kinda money grubbing but oh well if it comes out good Il pay)
I would expect over the coming months and years that most of the combat will be reworked (if not completely replaced). The game is technically begin released but it really is going to just be the bones of the game, and even if they don't change it modders sure will the game has some good potential.
Well eventually the AI will be competent it just may not be this year (or next) lol. Though they are slowly improving the AI, so just don't get better at playing the game and let it catch up.
The new loading screen definitely needs to be a wallpaper (I saw it and pretty much instantly put it as my background anyways).
I think its they realized their current method of transferring races doesn't work right now since you need multiple files in different spots to install them. I hope they can get this resolved soon though I would really like to throw them in my games. I can't say I'm a fan of just copying the core races and having them as the other competitors.
Well that sucks I should have downloaded them when I had the chance. I know it was possible before I went to work today I hope they fix that soon.
yeah it's really hard to spot now.
I find it completely crazy that a cargo ship with 6 sensors 2 engines and 3 life support on turn 2 of the game has the same sensor range as a maxed out star base at 15 sensor range!!!!! That has been upgraded MULTIPLE TIMES AND has WAYYY more maintenance costs (not that many people care about money) (oh yeah and its still better then any of the starting scouts you get).
