Hello, When I am trading tech with another civilization, and I hover my mouse over a tech, the bubble which pops up to show me a description of the tech is often too small for the description so I am missing some of the description. The same thing happens when I access the Tech Tree and I put my mouse pointer over a box, the description bubble is at times too small for the tech description to fit inside it.

As for reply #2, when I couldn't start a trade route with my purchased freighter, I tried sending it in orbit around one of my planets hoping it would set it as home planet but no dice. The alien freighter is permanently without a home planet. One possible solution which could be interesting. The freighter stays registered to the planet that created it. (The way that oil freighters are often registered in Liberia because of lax regulations). The ad

Perhaps the way to go is to use mining resources to build up a station. It doesn't make sense to send the resources to nearby planets because planets already have resources and it is expensive to land them on an inhabited world (think of the fuel cost). It makes better sense to use those resources in space. We could have mining starbases accumulating resource units, with possibly miners supplementing them by mining asteroids. Then freighters would have trad

When we click on the little icon on a special planet tile, the full description of what is special about that tile doesn't always fit in the text bubble it is shown in. Often we will miss the last two lines of text. Similarly when a game event occurs (which often show up when colonizing a new world) and the user is given a choice which is either Benevolent, Pragmatic or Evil, the third description of the choice does not always fit in the available space. The last line

A similar goal for me in the way I played Galactic Civ II, was to get both miniaturization and logistics up. Big ships are expensive so it is easier to get tiny ships, some armed with lazers, some with missles some with kinetic weapons and mount a swarm using a ralley point. This way, regardless of the tech being faced, all 3 offensive types are represented to counter defences. One way I had to quickly arm myself against a bully civilization w

Not exactly. In my case, I had rome for about 6-7 modules, but it said 0 constructors are available and I had several stationned on the station. I suggest that when the number of constructors entering the starbase match the number of available modules, to make other constructors heading to the starbase idle.

I had a mining starbase near ressource. When I move the mouse pointer over the sun it says: "Starbase effect: Happy". Is the "Happy sun" for some yet-to-be unlocked feature ?

When I do research one goal I often have is to miniaturize ship components so that I can get to the point where I can create constructors, freightors, and transports which fit on a small and eventually a tiny ship hull. In this beta version of Galactic Civ III, the miniaturisation tech is spread out amongst different things. Making engines, smaller, increasing hull capacity, reducing size of specific components. There is no way to see it as a "Miniaturizatio

I created a custom made constructor which uses a small hull, constructor module and engine. There are times when I send a bunch of constructors to upgrade a starbase, that the constructors aren't recognized as such and instead are positionned as defending the starbase. The starbase says there are no available constructors. In order to get around this, I have to manually eject the constructors, then get them to move back on the starbase again. When the

I bought freighters from the other two civilizations in my game. When I tried using them to start a trade route, I got a message that the freighter did not have a home planet. The game should ask me to set a home planet instead. (Suggesting the most lucrative one for the planet I want to trade with would be nice).
