I may have resolved the matter of Macrium Reflect not being excluded- there are two folders created in different places both containing exe files. I've now excluded the exe files in both. As for Firefox- no ad blocker- clicking on any Stardock Login or Sign In option - just a very brief blink and no response. Never mind, I can use Chrome. Thanks for your help.
Thanks. I uninstalled it, and then, along with other programs, used Easeus ToDo PCTrans to transfer it from my Win 10 laptop. That worked. I'd tried installing a couple of times and failed with Win 11. Noted no useful response to clicking Sign in on Firefox with this forum- Chrome is ok. I found WindowBlinds incompatible with Macrium Reflect 8 - some MR buttons were blank. Restoring the default Windows theme- MR was ok. Tried to add MR as an exclusion but it didn't seem to hav
Thanks; having installed it the first dialogue I see is of course that to enter the license details. But it closes after a second or two. As I said- no problems with other programs. What should I do? Is there a specific build I can download?
Hi, Just started using Windows 11- 25H2. Whilst WindowBlinds, Icon Packager are ok, Object Desktop simply closes after a couple of seconds. ObjectDesktopManager.exe file version 4.7.9510.27166, 9.7.0... This is a day-old Windows 11 installation running Defender. Ideas welcome. Thanks.

Thanks, apologies, should have said this is Win 10. Finally discovered what was happening- it was related to use of a Windows theme file, and upgrading via the Update Assistant required that to be rewritten after the update, whereas applying the same update via Windows Update did not.

Hi, all was well until upgrading from Win 21H2 to 22H2 using the Upgrade Assistant. Now I find I have to reapply Icon Packager icons after every restart. What do I have to do to correct this? Thanks.

Hi Neil, so I uninstalled aeroglass, quit y'z shadow, removed the theme so I was as near as I could tell back to native win 10. (There was a 1 pixel blue border I don't seem to recall originally, but titlebars were white again. ShadowFX does nothing, except it lets me choose the shadow style. But no shadows applied. Still hoping to hear from Brad Ather of support about my logs submitted as requested..

I've also tried removing the aerolite theme that colours title bars and provides visible borders and reinstalling ShadowFX. Still no shadows. I do have Aeroglass running... I'm a bit reluctant to remove that. Can anyone quote examples where this program works? E,g, 32 bit, upgraded from win 8.1, theme xxxx applied. Thanks!

Hi, this allows you to set any colour you want for many of those bright whitish areas MS wants us to stare at: given that MS took away the dialogues that allowed control of this, this (other than WindowBlinds- when avaiable) is the only way now available. I, I upgraded from Win 8.1 to Win 10. Tried ShadowFX with an aerolite theme applied (so as to get coloured title bars). Nothing. Now there's no 'apply' button on ShadowFX's GUI, so having selected the shadow style, do you a. leave the program running (icon in task bar) b. close it c. sthg else so as to see the shadows? (I have an outstanding request in on this and have submitted logs, but no further response-
Sojiro84: I agree, no effect in Win 10. I contacted support, got a reply, sent in my logs, and am hoping for a reply... (Y'z shadow (freeware, old) works, but there's a problem with tiled (win 10) programs whereby it leaves blank frames. I've fixed that (sort of) with a small script which conditionally kills a Win 10 process, but it's not a complete or 'nice' solution, 'tho pretty good in practice).
Hi, I tried this noting it's listed as compatible, but it has no effect. I'm also puzzled by the (very simple!) GUI. Once you select a shadow style, how do you apply it? There's no 'Apply' or similar button that I can see.. the only options seem to be to minimise or quit. I feel I'm missing sthg obvious.. Thanks!

Hi, I've spent a while trying to find out why when I reboot to Safe Mode - no desktop icons are displayed - then rt click on desktop, view, 'show desktop icons' is ticked - click on that again, desktop icons are displayed. - rt click on 'computer' hangs- throbber by cursor for ever. Log off, log on in Safe mode- icons & rt click are ok. If I reboot to SMode from normal mode having disabled the registry entries for Fences shown
