there is still a bug with tabs size in windows 8.1 when display scaling is not set to 100% here is an example with combined tabs for the explorer and windows display set to 125% : when placed above rather than combined, the tabs end up being too large. hope this help.

without fence to fence transparency in seven and win8/8.1, opacity and by fence transparency become mostly useless, bye bye fences stacking and others desktop space efficient usages. roll-up and portal navigation was good idea, but not to that price... staying to fences 2!
hi, i discovered fences recently and really like it, thanx for this cool tool :) But i think there is one small internal setup missing, fences are clearly z-ordered\layered on the desktop. Fences being made on top of each others, the last made take dropped icons in priority. No matter, but it seems there is no way to change this order, so fences have to be made in the good order at creation time which do not integrate/fitt very well with the "interactively create when n
