What if the steam icons are not in the Start menu already? I recently installed Windows 11 on a new partition. All of my steam games are on different drives. I have all of there icons in a folder, and they work. But how do I pin them to the Start11 menu?
you could open up the start menu folder can create a steam games folder, then place those shortcuts in there. They will then show

modern file picker in windhawk. It seems start11 is the only one that does not like that setting, works fine with my other apps. Start11 needs to swap to this modern file picker, its using a dated one that not very user friendly.
<d
Strangely, the Browse for Folder work on my system and I believe there are others who also pinned folder taskbar using the same method with no issue. I wonder what differ in your system on Explorer part that make the issue appear in your system. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
Yeah idk what to say about that, it pins fine now when turned off. I pinned my things needed a

Turns out it was a edit that allows the file picker to use the modern one rather than the list one. Disabling it allowed them to pin correctly again. This is what start11 uses for picking a folder Start11 really should be using this window for selecting folders. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/40/19/4019518/80b28321-d22b-4
Than test it on new Win10 VMware system. Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
Its not installed on a vm, Its on real hardware as in my daily desktop.... I was saying enabling that sandbox break my virtual machines installs. Not related to the taskbar issue. So I cannot enable sandbox mode.
Just as a test. Please test install in a Sandbox and see if you can see the same issue in there: https://forums.stardock.com/505872/start11-support-faq#windowssandbox Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
I cannot enable that as it messes with my vmware virtual machines.

I seem to be having an issue with taskbar pins with start11v2 2.5. When I pin a folder or menu to the taskbar, it does not retain the name of the folder I have selected. It gives it a random number (7) in this case for pinning the downloads folder onto the taskbar through the start11 pin menu. I opened the taskbar pins folder location to verify and as you can see below, it is labeled (7). It should be Office. This is a 100% fresh windows 10 install so I know there are no other softwares that
This issue continues to persist. Can someone at least confirm or deny if they see this issue in current insider builds?
Like what Basj said. Stardock does not support Windows 11 Insider Preview builds. Those versions of windows tend to change things fairly fast which breaks software. Windowblinds is not designed to be used on that. If you want to use windowblinds on windows11, you need to leave the insider program and res

Well using the image you supplied in this thread with some editing to get it to display like yours, it does work fine. I do notice you have to unlock the taskbar and make it big/smaller to update the system tray (well at least in the vm I use not sure on real hardware if this happens as I cant test due to running windows10 on my hardware.) Not sure if thats a side effect of running it under a VM or a current bug with start11 v2 and windows 1124h2. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/for

Getting close the finishing this style. Had to rebuild from scratch due to major corruption at some point to the color files for the taskmanager, could not get the working. Just have 1 more style to re-implement. (This allowed me to refine some things at the same time. :)

The good for me is I no longer will have forced windows 10 updates that reboot my system at any notice and A really cool mail app I recently found called Mailbird (replaced the crappy outlook app that Microsoft is forcing on users over Windows mail). Id say 2 things that are bad for 2024 are Windows 11 recall and on the android side of things, Samsung not having RCS support come January. I love the categories feature of the messaging app and

Unfortunately you cannot have an unskinned taskbar while using windowblinds. However you can adjust the transparency of the taskbar by using this setting under Windowblinds on any skin you have applied. Was groupy installed on windows 10 and then the system was upgraded to windows 11 as the same install? Maybe uninstall groupy completely and reinstall it if that's the case. There's a chance the windows 10 to 11 upgrade might of broke the software a little.
This is helpful to at least be able to see the top part of the grouped windows, but this was working properly before my company upgraded me to Windows 11 and to the Microsoft 365

Its been months now and still no word on when this section will get Dark mode options. What's the point of Windowblinds Light/Dark mode when you can't even set the explorer background/text color for dark mode. When you set dark mode, it stays white with black text. Secondly, the dark options should be editable. If you edit the dark options, it affects the light mode ones... It would be nice if we could set them. As of right now I have to make a substyle for either Light or dar

It did at first but then it would show multiple versions if more than one opened
Just open file explorer, right click icon on taskbar to bring up jumplist and select pin to taskbar.

This is what I was looking for. Something local. I had to go and make my hockey mascot for the LA Kings riding a surfboard at the beach XD
Here's a couple I've done. I'm using a local Stable Diffusion Forge install.
