Hi cxp36, The secret is to maximize your homeworld asap and I really mean asap. It depends on race and traits, but essentially you want to rush-buy key buildings like Manufacturing Capital (if you have 'intuitive' trait you can rush-buy this building on the 1st turn!), Technological Capital, Durantium Refinery, later you might want to add Thulium archyve/Hyp.Matrix as well. Grow population as quickly as you can to 25b++, send your initial colony ship to planet and cut 2b of

I totally relate early game is the best. Every action you take matters if you mess something up you'll lose momentum, which is interesting. But later you might find yourself wasting a lot of time by doing irrelevant things when you could just remove AI outright the moment you realize you're capable of and then quitting the game halfway through conquest because it's obvious who won. I usually play everything set to occasional medium/large maps full of

Hello, Why there are plenty of habitable planets when option is set to rare? I even reduced all options to rare yet still dozen of habitable planets pop out within my range. My map size is gigantic if that makes any difference. I used to play GC2 with rare settings which worked fine. I can't seem to find much info about this topic on search engines. Any ideas how to nerf it?

hey this game is about space so where are greys and flying saucers anyway? lol as someone mentioned in this forum additional aquatic world race would be nice too you build colonyship and click right mouse button on planet and bang it's yours you start building modern stuff in it immidiately at the very same turn, isn't it ridiculous? i prefer only toxic/radioactive/aquatic.. etc etc after proper techs researched and specifically learn to habit your own star system planets thro

party really depends on what race you are playing and how you gonna spend your points. i always play iconian on incredible level, rare habitable planets. Federalists is useless for me, in begining i rush for economic capital and merchant complex quickly build two freighters, since you have those two buildings AIs start to send their freighter to your planet, so you don't need to bother with more freighters. first two years my 3000bc that i get in the begining melts fast, after that i go all-i

thanks for reply. yes I play TA i'm playing with iconian refuge, against 9 AIs all incredible level, RARE habitable planets which means you have your two starting planets and no more, sure will need range modules to travel farther. to get speed with iconians takes to much time to research propulsion and put huge size modules on ships makes no sense. i know that terran have unique techs for early +1 speed, but arcean, drengin, altarians, i play against them all and always attacke

two questions about AI ships. 1. i start a game on a gigantic or immense galaxy and immidiately AI scoutships and flagships find my star, when i want to send mine to uncover their it says to far can't reach, i can only reach nearby stars that is not out of bounds and that is not the oes who find me (that is deadly cause i dont see what kind of weapons they use). Later on they declare war and send warships to my stars from the other side of a fricken galaxy I REALLY DOUBT THEY HA
