Was there any error message that windowblinds displayed or windows at all ? I use the Pro version I didn't try windowblinds since version 5 (I wasn't old enough to purchase software at the time) So I had to wait :). The only difference between pro and trial is just that a trial. You have a limited time to try. I think the installer CNET has is a little bugged as I've saw other people with the same problems. I agree, I read about LG releasing an 84" Ultra Definition (4 x 1920x1080) resolution which is incredible. Although kind of pointless since there isn't any media that supports this resolution as of yet. I think given time things will excel even further.

I don't disagree there are some fine visual styles but Windowblinds doesn't require modification of any system file which makes it a lot more secure. If you have links to your favourite visual styles along with author permission I will be more than willing to port them to WB for you. :)

Really like the sleek/minimal look of the first laptop. I too agree with 3D not worth the money, old technology (was around in the 80's) tried to revive it and yeah it fails. The NFC payment method is nice I think it will work out over time.

Ah that's fine, That's just WbVista service it's windowblinds service that was being removed. All is normal in that department. Using patched files could cause confliction. If the values don't exist in registry then that's fine also. sfc /scannow will fix any corrupt system files and thus if your registry is errornous then sfc/ scannow will repair this problem. Just my two cents windowblinds is by far superior to VS :).

I like it, but in my opinion the orange/peach clock colour doesn't go well with the blue. I would recommend a black clock colour with a lighter shade of blue glow

One poster here asked what do registry cleaners do other than clean obviously, Well it depends on the softwares capabilities, if the software is able to re-organize things it allows programs to load faster kind of like defragmenting a hard disk it re-indexes everything.

It's strange that you got the error "Windowblinds was not installed correctly" because Windowblinds was made for all current Windows operating systems. It sounds stupid but did you try running the installer as administrator ? I would recommend using revo uninstaller to uninstall windowblinds then restarting your PC and try installing again. Revo uninstaller will remove any trace in registry and any file assoc

There was a debate about 32-bit/64-bit and what affects it had on games and the difference wasn't too much but I am using Windows 7 64-bit on both my desktop and laptop. I play games now and then. I wouldn't buy a game just because it's 64-bit aware.

Impulse is no longer owned by Stardock, It's now owned by GameStop. Judging by the error message it could be due to privileges on your temp folder. Also if you have installed any previous versions, remove them before attempting to install the latest version. I would recommend using revo uninstaller .

shame you're not getting 1136 socket, cause this cpu cooler is very nice, it's cheap and it works great my cpu temps never reach over 50ºC which is nice. I'm using the i7-960 model. I should note the highest i've seen is 42ºC

If you're running android you can connect via usb cable in usb debugging mode use the ddms tool while connected to your computer then on the menu click device > screen capture. If your smartphone is rooted there are apps that do it for you such as "ShootMe" available on the market. On some devices you can hold the power button and press the home button it will save the current screen to your gallery.
