I guess I don't think it is that difficult to click on it and go to the bottom of the page. We are talking about one click. Its not like we have to scroll through pages of info to find it. I also do not want all the galleries listed in the dropdown list. I removed some and placed the ones I use the most in it. I guess you can't please everyone all of the time but I do not mind the way things are. I am only speaking for myself though and I am just one person at the bottom of the list o

Maybe someone here understands what you mean but I am not sure what bar you are referring too. Windows 7 does not have a standard sidebar as such. It comes with gadgets and you can choose those by right clicking on your desktop and choosing gadgets. Are you able to post a screenshot of what you are talking about?

"If you aren't a subscriber, it is rather odd that you can't find the OD Backgrounds gallery in normal navigation. I've created a bookmark in my browser for it. Just add _backgrounds to the address for the original OD gallery to get this:" Not true also. All you have to do is click on explore instead of hovering on it and scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says other. They added a new ObjectDock background category in the list.

Karmat my skins folder path is a little different, C:\Users\owner\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins. I have Rainmeter installed on 3 computers and the path is the same for me on all of them. That is why I have been telling people to just put the non rmskins in the rainmeter skins folder found in your documents. Some people get a little confused with paths.

Do what Xiandi said but what site are you downloading the blinds from? Download them from Wincustomize if your not already doing so. The reason is you will get the most updated version possible. Some sites still offer older versions of the blind that have not been updated to fix bugs.

"If you think of "a movie" as the grand sum of all its parts, then if the music is bad, the movie will be perceived as bad. I have seen plenty of movies with good stories and cinematography, but bad music (star trek). I have also seen plenty of bad stories with good music (avatar)." Perhaps but I do not remember the music of Start Trek but I do remember liking the movie. As far as avatar is concerned I thought everything about that was crap. I did not even watch it t
changing some of the tga's in Photoshop Hmmmmmm
I only do it for my own use Uvah and they are usually just small changes like removing the name of the windowblind from the start menu which is a pet peeve of mine. I know what the name of the blind is when I load it so there is no need to have it on the start menu.

You know I have not thought of it in that way before however I had been contiplating something simalar at work not long ago. I work for a fancy 333 guest room hotel in a Western Canadian city. It is a nice place to work and we have had the pleasure to accomidate many celebrities and notable people. Everyone from the President of the United States and recently Lady Gaga. Occasionally when I am walking the hallways of the hotel I hear certain pieces of music. I do not know much ab

"You're welcome [e digicons][/e] Ya know....if you keep tweaking things on WB's you'll be ready to skin one yourself! [e digicons];)[/e] " I am a long way from that but I do like the sounds of having a Windowblind I made being available to the public for download. Some day I hope.

"Actually, Junior, I've been in contact with him for the past few weeks, fixed this and other issues with the blind and sent it back to him, gave a detailed description on what would work better graphically and functionally with the blind, sent several graphics examples, samples, tuts, etc. that would possibly work well with the design he has in mind (castles-scottish) and occasionally I'll just get an email back asking, What do you think of the blind? Maybe you or someone else can com

"You got a real knack for putting stuff together properly, Rick. I'd like to see you, Junior and a few more put that talent to work and create some blinds. You guys KNOW you'd have PLENTY of help...." I would like to make a blind but there sure seams like a lot of work involved in making one. I really respect those that do it. I have learnt a little buy modifying a

Xiandi your awesome. I just did this now and it worked perfectly. Someone should really tell Ritchie31 about this because so far that is the only problem I have experienced using it with Windows 7. Would you be so kind to let him know or would you like me to do it? Again thank you for this. Your a big help and I really do appreciate it.

I need help from the pros. I downloaded Ritchie31 new blind and though its not great its not to bad either. It actually is a big improvement over his previous blinds. The guy is 79 and making skins so i give him a lot of credit for that. Actually one of his sub skins in his new blind Manorbier V looks quite nice with some recoloring and transparency. You will see what I mean in the shot I am posting here. My problem with the skin is that the text boxes are all screwed up. They have do

This is Ritchie31 new blind and it actually is quite good. The one problem I have is with menu text. In drop boxes it has text on top of text. Maybe because I am using Windows 7 and it was not designed for that OS. I wish someone could tell me how to fix it.

If your using ABP the you need itunes running. After you launch itunes refresh the skin. For the slideshow do this. Right click on any open skin and select ABP + Configure + Configure ini. The configuration window will open. Scroll down and select Slideshow path and enter the correct path to the picture folder you want the slideshow to display. You can also change the text in the next option so it will say something different then slideshow on the skin. As far as the drive is concerned not su

I am not saying to uninstall winrar. If there is not an option in 7-zip settings to select it as the default program then just do this simple 4 steps. 1. click on default programs in your start menu. 2. when the default programs window opens click on associate a file type or protocol with a program. 3. scroll down almost to the bottom of the list until you see zip and then click on it. 4. when the window opens and if 7-Zip is not in the first option of programs

Jim ABP only comes in .rmskin format which confirms my initial statement that winrar is detecting it as a zip file. I repeat again follow the instructions I gave and you will not have any problems. The issue is your using winrar to launch the rmskin file and it detects it as a zip file. Edit. I should say that if you choose to install it the way I said the file is only in rmskin format. There might be zip formats with ini files out there but why anyone would choose those when you can
