So is this patch available for download? I no longer see "opt-in" as a beta choice and my game is still at 1.01. If this is not available yet why give release notes days early?????

I have seen this happen many times now and it is my first real complaint with the AI. I am playing on normal. What I keep seeing is he will colonize a planet deep into my territory, resulting in instant approval rating of 0. A few turns later it turns to my side and presto, I just got a free colony. Can this problem be addressed? Its fairly serious in my opinion.
Maybe I am an idiot here but I read that you can have like 100 different players. How is that when at the start of a game you cannot pick more than 9 (that includes yourself with an AI opponent of the same race). There are only 8 major CIVs to choose from. Do you get access to a larger number of factions in multiplayer? Or does it make a ton of minor CIVs on larger maps? Or am I smoking something?
[quote who="BuckGodot" reply="1" id="3548188"] Quoting , quoting post How approval is calculated is somewhat of a mystery to me. One thing for sure though is it 10% higher when I have an approval relic being mined by a starbase, yet it doesn't say it is. I decommission the starbase and the approvals for all colonies go down 1
I wish I would have gotten into this beta MUCH sooner. You know how many screens, like the planet surface one for example has left and right arrow icons at the top for you to quickly go through all of your colony surfaces. I wish the ship yard screen had this too. It would be much quicker than having to click on each one from the main screen.
I guess since the game deploys in 2 days its too late for a nice to have like this in time. I am only to medium level hulls in my first full game and already I am wishing I could sort or filter the ships available. Not only would this be nice in the designer but also in the main tab that lists your current ships.
How approval is calculated is somewhat of a mystery to me. One thing for sure though is it 10% higher when I have an approval relic being mined by a starbase, yet it doesn't say it is. I decommission the starbase and the approvals for all colonies go down 10%. In contrast, if you have a culture relic, the colony info does show it increasing influence by 10%. So this too leads me to believe approval relic is missing in the list of things that modify approval.
Yes, I am good now. Thanks.
You know what, I started a couple of new games and I see that the designs and templates are saved across those. But only for these new ones. I don't see designs from my current game in new games or new designs in my current game. The current game was created with beta 6.1. Maybe its a difference in beta levels or something. So I "think" the issue I am reporting is not really a problem. Hopefully someone can help me to confirm. Thanks <
I am new to the beta but I think I am correct when I observe that ship designs and templates only get associated to your current game. That means for a person like me who does not want the very heavy micro-management of creating ship templates and designs each game, I have to do it every time. I want to be able to create my designs and templates one time and then be able to re-use them each game. I am very surprised and disappointed that such a huge micro-management burden i
