@ casspir In the ship designer click options and select show all styles, or something similar.

I've been thinking about how the espionage system could be for GC3. In GC2 you could train spies and then order them to spy on a civilization gathering data or have them shut down an improvement on a planet. For GC3 I was thinking the system should offer the player more choices on what to do with spies. For example, you could have a spy infiltrate an opponent's colony, if they succeeded you had access to a screen similar to your own colonies screen, except instead of building
Right click on GC3 in your Steam library, select Properties, go to Betas and select to opt-in.
In game you can't, just have better ships and destroy them. Or try to negotiate peace with the opponents you are at war with. You could modify the XML file Peacekeepers_MegaEventDefs.xml, change 150 to a higher number, like 900.
Found the problem. It's in Anomalies_ScenarioTriggerSetDefs.xml CultureMerciless <div cl
Sounds interesting, can't wait to see more. Question, any changes planned for the Large Empire Penalty?
Could you check to see if you didn't divert all production to military(shipyards)?
Disappointed to see no mention of fixing the battle viewer not matching the results or that the pirate ship set has been fixed so it displays templates, including the starting blocks.
From the 1.2.1 patch notes: Battle Viewer: Fixed a problem where the ship battle result screen was not matching the actual battle results. Edit: ninja'd.
That does not answer my question. My question was if the minor faction would retain their leader's name and if the minor faction would get the shipstyle. At no point did I ask if the minor faction was to be removed.
As far as I know the minor will remain unchanged.
Snathi! I remember the old GCII days when I first encountered them and almost fell out my chair. Good times. Now then, I have a little question; will the coming DLC affect the existing Snathi minor race when installed? As in, will they have the new ship style and will their leader change name once installed? It's a bit strange that there will be two Snarky out there, unless they are all called Snarky. That would be mildly c
I'm not really bothered by the economy wheel, if you guys think you can make something better than it be my guests. I have my own gripes. 1. LEP. I dislike the Large Empire Penalty. First off it's broken, it's formula is basically (Raw Approval - LEP) + Bonuses, I haven't checked lately so I apologize if it was fixed. Second off it doesn't make sense to me that if I colonize a new planet the citizens on my existing colonies would get upset. I suggest it be reworked
I have some rather bad news, the release date of XCOM 2 has been pushed back to 5 February 2016.
Is it possible too see this road map or is it imaginary?
Stated by Frogboy:
In another thread we discussed the wish lists for GalCiv III. Our tentative update schedule is: v1.1: Early July (would have been this month except for the Steam sale and E3) v1.2: August (looking at random events and more UI polish, AI updates, etc.) v1.3: September (looking at pol
You have to encounter over half of the major civilizations for the UP to start.
A new video showing the strategic layer was posted: configure your mobile HQ, manage research and manufacturing resources, recruit and customize soldiers, upgrade weapons, armor and abilities, and ultimately build a global resistance network to combat the enemy occupation. I'm going to miss Shen and Vahlen.
Thanks so much, I finally found it. Doh! While your answering questions, I'm playing the Arcean campaign and my ship won't colonize a planet. Ship has a population of 3.0 and there are no planet defenses. Any suggestions? Thanks Again
Which mission? The things that come to mind are it's a class zero planet, it's already colonized or you are using a
Let's try again with pictures. Step 1: left click on the planet. Step 2: left click on the ship. Step 3: right click where you want the ship to go.
Here's a picture of the parts, they are the last in the DLC style.
1) I accidentally sent a ship to a planet, can I get it back somehow?
Yes, click on the planet, you should see a list of ships on the bottom left corner, select a ship than click somewhere for it to go.
2) I built my Shipyard too far from the planet and my Transport was then built without any soldiers on board, is there a way to then load soldiers?
Sent the transport to one of you
In the bottom left corner of the Steam client there is "Add a Game", from there select "Activate a Product on Steam", from there follow the steps and you'll see where to enter the code.
I once put them on Google Docs to search for typos, they are still there but out of date. I'll put newer versions up tomorrow
From what the devs said DLC availability in multiplayer is based on who hosts the game. So if you host the game all players in that game will have access to DLC content.
Milky Way isn't a map, it's a scenario, it is located in the same place as the campaign.
Try the The GalCiv III wishlist thread .
Will there be a map editor? The single biggest reason I hit reset is positioning. Also, I really enjoyed making maps on GalCiv2.
The map editor will be in the first DLC. Check out this thread by Brad on the Steam forums for some ideas on what they plan to add.
